Has anyone heard anything or received any calls? The anticipation is killing me.
It's killing me as well! I haven't heard anything yet. Last year it was Feb 3rd though

Has anyone tried calling the office?
I've turned into a private investigator in the last week because I'm so anxious. Looks like it was the first Tuesday in February that they gave out acceptances the last few years which would've been yesterday...I'm clearly losing my mind haha. If I hear anything I'll make sure that posting here is the first thing I do!
Just called their office, it is estimated that they will send out the next round of acceptance mid February
I would say we should hopefully hear back within the next week & I'm sure if you get accepted and you were to miss the call they would leave you a message lolHow long until we all go crazy? I just want some actual dates that they will definitely call in. I keep thinking that I could miss the call and they would call someone else :/
Really? 🙁I called their office, anybody who got accepted would've gotten the call by now.
Yeah I just called, she said she's pretty sure they're done. 😢Really? 🙁
I'm hoping its notThat can't be true...
I got in off of the waitlist on 2/5. Pre-december interview, out of state. Waitlist people, don't give up hope! 🙂
Ya same here I called the office and they said the admissions committee still didnt make a decision lol. Im assuming its a rejection. Is anyone still received/under review? Is it safe to say that being under this status, at this point in the cycle, would be a silent rejection?

I received a phone call from UFCD today! I got accepted. I interviewed in September and I was wait listed. Please, do not give up. I have an average DAT and I was still given the opportunity to enter into the school. 🙂
Good Luck!!!!!
Where are you going?Withdrew my acceptance from UF today. Someone will get lucky soon 😉

.When did you hear back from them? Were you wait listed and then accepted?
Anything? I keep hoping I'll hear something from them, I keep calling yet their answers are so generic. I paid a hefty deposit at another school and would so drop it for UFCD.😕
100% you MUST go and talk to your professors/TAs right now. You need to stress to them that you're willing to do whatever it takes to pull a C (and can you do that if you score 80% or whatever a good grade in the class is), that you've been working full time, and you've already been accepted, and your future rides on this. Take responsibility for your performance instead of making it seem like it was outside of your control - professors have heard all of this before and believe me, it's a breath of fresh air to get a mature student who takes responsibility for their position.Seeking advice. Please no trolling from waitlisters wanting to see me fail.
I'm in my last prereq and it's not going particularly well. I'm not in danger of failing, but it's unlikely I'll do any better than a C and there's a good chance I may end up with some kind of D. I've gotten a B or higher in every other prereq (almost all As in fact) and I'll confess once I was admitted I began to focus more on my full time job which I'd been, not neglecting per se, but perhaps insufficiently attentive to the demands thereof during the application cycle.
What happens if one gets a D in a prereq after being admitted, assuming there's no time to retake? Automatic rescindence, or handled on a case by case basis? Should I let them know about this now, before the final, or just wait and see and only bring it up if I do in fact end up with a D?

I know firsthand how hard it is to balance full-time work and school (I'm doing it myself right now), but you need to start taking this class seriously. Drop everything else you're doing right now. Delete facebook, cancel netflix, cut data from your cell phone plan (you can do with just phone calls with your family/significant others), give your laptop to a friend for 2 weeks, whatever, then start heading to the library at night after work to study. If you have days off for work, the time to use them is now. If you've already gotten in, it's clear you possess the ability for this. It's a matter of having no distractions outside of work, to get your academics handled.
Once you find out where you stand in the class (and what you need to pull a C), then you can go talk to the admissions folks. I wouldn't do it before you've had a serious sit-down with your professor, and some serious reconfiguration of your life to pass your class.
Thanks for the input. I know precisely where I stand. I have a 74.1% going into the final on a 10 point scale. (90-100=A, 80-89=B, etc) In order to earn a final grade of C, I must score 53% or higher on the final...actually even lower, because the highest score will be normalized to 100%.
It's probably not quite as bad as it sounds. It's not like I'm certain to get a D. I'm just wondering what happens if I do, and if I should bring it up to admissions now or wait and see. I see merit in both approaches...but my wife gave me the best advice, it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission. So I don't think I'll bring it up now, I'll obviously study hard and do the best I can on the final and cross that most uncomfortable bridge if I should come to it.
