Does anyone know how to go about doing the drug test? Or does UK not require that? I just paid the deposit and the only thing I saw was where we are required to do the background check.

Any idea if UK tends to prioritize their own dental students for matching in to their residencies?

I've been told yes and no. Current 4th years are having no issues matching into UK residencies from what I've been told but take that with a grain of salt.

I’m pretty sure they do. It’s just closer to the start of school. Just to shadow at UK you have to pass a drug screening, so I’d assume you’d definitely have to in order to be a student.

Ahh, ok. I know some schools make you pay for it yourself and take it after you pay your deposit, so I didn’t know if I was missing something or not. Thanks!

Dropped my OOS acceptance today 🙁 This one hurt. I hope somebody here gets it!

I actually emailed Missy today to ask that question and she said the committee will be reviewing the wait list candidates over the next few weeks. She also said the wait list is not ranked. So I guess we should hear something towards the end of January/early February. It's so hard to be patient 🙁

Not sure yet! I put my deposit down for UofL a while ago. I’m still waiting to see if it get accepted into DCG or maybe LECOM!

Did you get a call or an email or both from UK when you got notified of your acceptance?
 
In my case, it was the call first and they let me know that they were hitting the 'Send' button for the email as we were speaking.
 
Any Tennessee residents here who’ve been accepted and is planning on attending?

Just got put on the waitlist today. Anyone know the odds of being accepted once on the list?

Any IS people who were accepted to both UK and UL that will be dropping their UL acceptance or already have? :thinking:
 
Any movement from OOS waitlist, and did anyone else receive an email about still being interested in a spot off the waitlist?
