For those who were accepted, did you receive notification by mail yet? In the acceptance email it stated that we should be getting the same files by mail, but I have not received them yet.

Thanks! 🙂 I was really worried I wouldn't get in because of my below average GPA and DAT, but I guess they liked my experiences. I did tons of volunteering/research in college, and I've been dental assisting since I graduated in June.

Just wondering were you placed on the waitlist on Dec 1st and applied as a post-interview applicant? Orrr did you just not get an email or answer till today? Thanks.

I got the waitlist email on Dec 1st and really did not expect anything until January. Did anyone else get an acceptance? What if they made a mistake?! haha

If you are worried that they made a mistake, I'd call! They are pretty responsive and quick. One more question (may be dumb, but gotta confirm fam). After receiving the waitlist email, did you submit the post-interviewee paper as well? Arigato yo~

Lol that was supposed a joke! I submitted the deposit and everything, it just seems weird that no one else on the forum happened to post anything. Yes, I submitted the post-interview contact form right away. I literally only applied to USC this cycle and freaked out when I was put on the waitlist. Seems like there will be a lot of movement though - I wish you guys the best of luck. This is my second cycle applying, I got rejected without an interview last cycle but that only made me strengthen my application even more. Don't give up, you guys got this!

It’s actually really odd that no one else posted usually multiple ppl get an email I’m batches. How long do they say u have to make a decsion and put down a deposit.. Congrats tho I’m impatiently waiting to get off this wait lissssst!!!

They said the first installment needs to be submitted 30 days for those accepted between Dec 1st and January 31st. Maybe they're moving people from the waitlist already? I don't know.. but I'm not complaining! Ugh good luck, I wish you the best!! Hopefully I'll see you in the fall!

Aww man the joke flew right over my head LOL... Hey thank you though. I definitely appreciate the info you've been providin'. I have similar stats but also got wait-listed so you've given me hope!

Maybe you're next! I'll be looking out for your guys' acceptances on here 🙂 so many people get in throughout the cycle so don't freak, this is just the beginning.

Hi Everyone! I am the Class President for USC DDS Class of 2021 and I created a Facebook Group for the Class of 2022. This will serve as a hub for you to meet your fellow classmates, as well as upperclassman, and ask any questions you have before orientation starts on August 20, 2018! The group is "USC School of Dentistry DDS Class of 2022". Looking forward to meeting all of you!

USC only sends out about 40% of the acceptance letters in December. I didn't get my acceptance letter until April and many of my classmates didn't get letters until May or June, so there is still plenty of time to hear from them 🙂

when did you apply and had an interview?
Were you on the waitlist first or got accepted right after your interview?

Just got an interview!!! for End of january (31st) or february!! Can anyone tell me what the interview is like!? DREAM SCHOOL RIGHT HEREEEE!
 
Just received an interview invite today at 12:12pm (EST). Interview options are late Jan thru end of Feb.

Residency - International (Australia); currently in Tampa, FL
Undergraduate - The University of Tampa
Graduate - University of South Florida
 
I also just received an interview invitation today (1/11) for every Wednesday from 1/31-2/22! Does anyone have insight on the interview? People told me it's a group interview with PBL-style scenerios. How do you prepare for these?

Residency- CA (UCSB undergrad)
GPA- 3.65 overall
DAT- AA 24 TS 24 PAT 23
