Has anyone called western? Seems like they sent an email ages ago saying "your app has been sent for review" and never heard back since
 
I just called and they said its still with the admissions committee, so I can hear anytime from now to february

Oh mannn, the question is..when is the next wave of interviews coming? I believe the only interview dates they have offered were early October..and one in November

I feel like October and November are the main interview dates and any after that are for the last couple spots still remaining.

I mean I have only seen one October interview date go out and one Nov date go out if you look at posts prior to this. That's only 2 out of 6 Interview dates they offered applicants so far for pre-Dec interviews. My BF goes to western and is a 3rd year, she said there should be 6 pre-Dec interview dates. Maybe we will hear back by Friday

Western doesn't appear on my aadsas portal, do you guys know why this is?
 
Have Western shown any love to anyone recently? Seems they have only done that first initial round of invites...
 
Does Western send out rejections or do they wait until the cycle is almost over for this? I was just wondering because I would rather know one way or another, I really like this school and am hoping for an interview!
 
I just got an interview call today! They offered me Nov. 5th. My application was sent over to committee on Sept 2nd (thanks to my late committee letter >=O).

Don't lose hope guys! I got my first rejection 2 days ago and it really really really hurt. Stay positive though...we got this!
 
Hopefully I get a call today too.

Congraaaaats. It was good seeing you at the wedding so I guess I'll see you again in a month. =D

To everyone else, I agree don't lose hope! I had a fair amount of rejections too and I didn't have my WesternU interview until February!

Just received the call! November 5th as well at 7:30 am I had to cancel the UNLV one with the Vegas trip lol till January bummer 🙁
 
Sad to not have the excitement of receiving an interview by phone call but extremely happy I got one through email lol
I got the email at 1:58 for an interview. I'm from California. Got the under review email on 9/02.

By the way! I think this is the last interview date till after December? I asked if other dates were available cause I had already scheduled UNLV for Nov 4. And she said January 21st was the next available? So I took the 5th but not sure if this is the last round?

They probably already had ppl booked for later November dates..
 
Dang, it looks like they're only sending interview invites out to those who had their application in review on and before 9/2...

I also received an interview for the 5th! It is the last one until the late cycle because I asked for a different date and the next available wasn't until January, so I took the 5th. Would love to be added to the groupme! 🙂

Maybe they do only just have two pre-dec interview dates :/ October 1 & Nov 5. Those are the only ones I have seen..The October date may have been already been filled when they contacted you.

Hello, all! My roommate and I are D1's and live at the Daumier (literally a 2 minute walk from where you will need to be on interview day). We are more than happy to accommodate students in our living room if your heart so desires for a cheaper rate than whatever hotels are in the area.

Support your local dental students ( that are knee deep in debt ;___; ) and message me if you're interested!

We're friendly and we have tea and face masks ^-^ !

I really loved WesternU yesterday. All faculties and students were super nice.
For those of you who haven't done interview yet, DON'T WORRY.
It was one of the best interview experience ever.

How's that even make sense.. 100 ppl x 30 minutes... 50 hours. Even if they have multiple interviewers, that means their day is basically just interviews without any tours? Even then, it'd be a stretch... 10 groups of 2 interviewers and its still 5 hours.

Though I can't speak for how many invites were given out and if it is consistent with each interview day, I can say that when I paneled on Saturday there was about 100 people give or take.
 
still no interview for me 🙁 anyone know when they are sending the next invites?
