I can veto a lynch since you runts are all too afraid of me to act out. I can veto my own lynch. The pm is going out right now.

So go ahead and waste a round. No one will die. Hurray. But it'll waste my utility if I get to survive and actually trust some people.

Stillman doesn't help out at the end.... He simply tries to find the van to save his ass and gets the entire group into trouble (which is what leaded to Hulka, Winger and Ziskey needing to come help)... never once does Stillman help at all in the movie...

That's not very convincing. You could easily be a wolf and avoid a lynch too, and are now trying to divert us away from relynching you tomorrow...

Wow this is making my head hurt. Going to go re-read through everything and then try and make a decision.

The wiki doesn't go into as much details as the movie... from what the plot synopsis says, when he recognized that the EM-50 is missing he does an unauthorized mission to go find it before the superiors find out. Hulka radios for help before they are captured by the Czech's and then Winger and Ziskey come and save the day. The wiki does mention that with some assistance from Hulka that Winger, Ziskey, Louise and Stella save the day. Seems like the wiki downplays Hulka's help

I'm not trying to be suspicious. Just a difference in playing philosophy. I prefer that people do their own research, rather than push their interpretation out there, potentially throwing everyone off the correct path (ex drill sergeant being a wolf).

To each their own. :shrug:
 
and for the record, I believe DocE. I could be wrong though.

If Hulka had not helped; Winger, Ziskey, Louise and Stella would have probably died.... He stops the Czech from firing at the EM-50. He is also considered as one of the heroes at the end of the movie... it says, "Hero retires and announces the new Hulkaburger." Maybe not that verbatim, but rather close to that...

You should all watch the movie, it is rather good.

Even better reason to lynch you. If you really have that ability AND have a questionable-possibly-wolf role, then we need to strip you of the ability to save yourself from lynching. The last thing we want is an end-game wolf with the ability to prevent himself from being lynched.

Hulka isn't questionable except in the mind of two or three of the posters here.

And the rule is basically that *not* killing someone is pro wolf except in end game. So me vetoing my own Lynch is not actually great for villagers, but I'd prefer to live another round (watch wolves kill me tonight) over dying with the power to stop it.

Wolves (barring mayor election) can't veto. Some need to be killed certain ways, but straight up cancelling lunches is just a cruel mechanic. Yes I'm aware gozer didn't get lynched last game, but we have no proof gozer wasn't completely ublybchable and needed to be ghost busted (which fits the character better than surviving a single lynch would)

This is pretty much where I am right now as well. After hearing you talk about Hulka's non harmful role in the movie, originally I didn't really take Hulka to be a wolf. But then hearing that he can veto the lynch really worries me. I hate feeling like we're just wasting this lynch but I guess it's better to do it now so if we ever really feel like DocE is acting wolfy, it won't take two days? idk idk

still doesn't prove anything... getting shot and standing back up doesn't SOUND like a veto, it sounds like someone who couldn't be lynched... the question is, can you EVER be lynched, and is it something we want to do (clearly you are going to say no)? In the movie, Hulka is on a tower when a missle is launched at him and the rest of the platoon.... the missle was only launched that way because of Stillman... Hulka was injured but not killed, he came back later in the movie at the time that the platoon was sent to Italy. Sounds similar to me.
 
😕 That really doesn't sound like a veto to me either. :eyebrow:

Is he claiming to be Hulka or did someone else say that?

i agree, surviving the death sounds like Hulka (the mortar launch scene)... but that's not what DocE said is it?

Did someone seer me. Cause if so you'd see that it's a mistake to lynch me. Or at least, as you guys pointed out, "probably not a good idea". I have no issue sharing my role cause you already all think its questionable. I am Hulka,. And Im exactly what you'd imagine a drill instructor to be. Hard as nails, but ultimately totally loyal to my people. and 100% villager.

Also never fear a quiet DocE. Fear the charming DocE. Quiet DocE is probably just asleep or at work.
