Thanks, will do. I just went through all of the questions on the interview feedback. Got about 8 of them that I really have no answer to. They also ask some pretty damn personal questions. Should be interesting at least. Hopefully I don't get tripped up too bad. Guess this one may test my interview skills.

Hopefully my desire to attend comes through in the interview as well as my charming personality. I'm wide awake right now though, wanted to be asleep around 10, not gonna happen at this rate.

Last night I was stuck on the Philly runway for TWO AND A HALF HOURS. Right when it started pouring was when they decided it would be a great time to take off, of course. I have never actually been nervous flying until that flight haha.

Thanks, doesn't help to ease my mind knowing that somehow Verizon keeps changing the time on my phone. Google says its 10:15 here, front desk said the same but then said they are on mountain time, which woudl make it 11:15 Phone has gone from 10 to 11 about 3 times. Makes it difficult to set an alarm on it haha I still have no idea what time it actually is lol

I'm going to trust google and pray Stupid Arizona and their non-observance of daylight savings time.

I've got a wakeup call for 6. Alarm in the room set for 5:45. Rockstar next to the bed so I can wake up in the morning haha I'm gonna get some breakfast in the morning even though they say they have a continental breakfast at the interview, i feel thats going to be a couple of granola bars or something

I'll die w/o breakfast so you'd better bet I'm gonna be eating it. I eat every 3 hours at home so interview days in general are brutal. Its not like I snack every 3 hours either, its a full meal

u could always bring a protein shake wit u to the interview! haha. interview days kill me food wise. i end up eatin out at all the fast food places i otherwise wouldnt really be eatn at.

and i kno wut u mean, i definitely don't feel hungry at the interviews cuz im so nervous. UNECOM gives free coffee, muffins, rice krispy treats, etc and the students kept tellin my group to eat, but i was so nervous haha. i ended up pigging out at a Sbarros after though lol

Ahh, you'll be fine with that. The school is amazing, and everybody you will meet is incredibly nice. Just be yourself in the interview, they really want to get to know your personality. You've already proven that you're a qualified applicant and can handle the work, now they just want to make sure that you're sociable and can handle the human interaction portion of the job. It is open file, so you may want to consider taking a quick gander at your application the night before.

You're going to kill it, and I might see you there next August!

I stayed at a friend's house when I interviewed at NSU and he lived right next door to a Boston Market, which I haven't had in about 5 years. I ate Boston Market about 3 times within 24 hours haha.

I just called and asked if they had sent them out yet. they told me they sent them out this past tuesday night(electronically). i then proceeded to call every school I had applied to to see if they had recieved them. some schools went right then and there and downloaded them from aacomas for me. others said that they download things from aacomas once a week and that they would be attached to my file soon. others said "hey we just got them today". but yeah I would call accomas first and then if you have the time just call to make sure that the schools also recieve them and attach them to your file. Ive heard too many stories of people not calling till very late cause they havent heardanything only to hear that schools have misplaced thier transcripts/mcat scores. so i would call aacomas for sure

I'm sitting in my hotel in Arizona, just went through some interview questions and prepped. Looking over my answers to secondary questions and such. Hopefully this one goes well, I love this school.

I expect two acceptances within the month.


Front page updated. I wish I had some more time to hop on here with some encouraging words, but work and hockey has been running me into the ground. I guess I really can't compain getting free icetime from 12-5am on Saturdays .

yeah mine still isn't indicated on aacomas. i have not checked my pdf however. glad i could help.

edit: Banweb says the last item they received from me (my LORs) was on 08/30, so I'm guessing I was complete then.

Hold out hope. I thought for sure I wasn't going to get one (was complete super early) and they came through. It came the day that my application was updated with summer grades too so send updates if you have them.

That's what I was planning on doing. I was either going to fly into KC or St. Louis and drive the rest of the way. You can actually fly into Kirksville but it's a little bit pricier and they only fly there a few times throughout the day. The airport code for Kirksville is IRK, just fyi

yeah the flights all land in Kirksville at 10:40 pm too, its kinda late since I would have to still check into a hotel and all! whats the driving distance from KC to Kirsville? just googled it, 3 hrs! i think i might do that actually rather than landing in Kirksville at 10:30 pm

I know, I'm kinda regretting scheduling them back-to-back, but that was literally the only day I could go without missing a test/paper. I think it's doable...we'll see lol. I might show up to the interview looking like someone just beat the crap out of me because I only got 4 hours of sleep haha.

hopefully it won't come down to that but if I end up interviewing on the 11th I'll be sure to look for the most sleep deperived person there!

CCOM was my first rejection too! I'm on hold at AZCOM and LECOM-Bradenton, interviews at KCOM and LECOM-Erie/Seton Hill in November and haven't heard from anyone else - I'm still waiting on the pre-professional advisor letter (I requested it in July!).

My stats:
MCAT 25M (12V, 5PS - I know!, 8B...I was pretty shocked by the M and the 5, even though gen chem was 10 years ago and I hadn't had physics II).
cGPA ~ 3.7, sGPA ~3.2
