So I just finished my undergrad career And now Im trying to apply to schools.
Application credentials:
All four years: 3.43 overall gpa, 3.32 science and BCP gpa.
Post Freshman year: 3.61 overall goa, 3.53 science and BCP.
(Kinda weird my BCPs are similar to a tee)
Anywho as you can see, I have a huge post freshman year positive trend and my last two semesters I averaged a 3.85 over 27 credits. (Damn plus/minus system.)
My DAT is 20 TS 20 PAT but a 19(!!!) AA due to a 17 QR. which has me on edge a bit.
I have +700 community service hours, but only 100 in hospital volunteer hours and 60 shadowing hours.
I have +1000 research hours, but the project died out because the PI left and so did the funding.
I have plenty of leadership hours and 5(!!!) great LoRs. (Reason why I have 5 is because my schools pre health committee asks for this much)
I am a URM also. Do I have a chance, or should I rethink my plans to apply? Thank you all for the responses.
