Mostly because you posted this as your original reasoning, now that I am re-reading somethings

But then today better reasoning/explanation was posted, when you explained that they usually don’t come until yeet close.

My question is, if that’s what they usually do, what’s the point of applying pressure if it doesn’t really make a difference?

I'm feeling better now that Vis has come on and posted some more solid content that sounds like wolf hunting. I'm interesting in a genny flip but she's far in the lead right now, so me being on her vote isn't going to change much. On the other hand this is what MsP has done as a wolf and so I don't mind sitting on it for now. I'll be on and off until yeet close and will evaluate as needed.

Mostly I just wanted to hear more from Dina and Sloth about why they had parked their votes where they did. So many of the votes on the board were focused elsewhere, and I had a good understanding of the other single votes at the time. Just wanted to hear more rationales from both Dina and Sloth.

This was from yesterday around page 6-7. Sloth had a vote on Alley at the time. I hadn’t seen any posts from you or Sloth about why you’d put your votes where you had, but after asking you responded, with a pretty decent write up. It’s somewhere on page 7, but that’s a while back now.

This stuck out to me because the ultimate goal is to catch a wolf not to sit on joke votes, so I'm confused why you didn't like it.

Basically she'll not come on until almost yeet close and either get people to waffle off of her or nobody will yeet her thinking she's going to be mod killed, but then she pops on to do just enough to not get mod killed. Or at least that's what she did in Back to skewwl.

Visc is my main wolf-lean right now, but I don’t quite think I’m ready to yeet yet because of the bandwagon that’s forming. Doing some more investigating into the neutrals

i don't like that the response to please explain your reads was a fairly similar looking reads list, which also had no explanations. but i'll keep reading and see if that changed.

I agree it does seem a little odd, but I also feel that sometimes people get pushed too hard for reads and then get pushed too hard for explanations of those reads and then get chastised about it all. Which is why I said probing too hard isn't always helpful to the village.

Ya know? At first, I read what you'd posted about sleeping, getting some breakfast and coffee, re-reading the thread and reassessing your reads.

And I was all "Okay, that's reasonable." And then it sat there, in the air, like a fart in an elevator, and it occurred to me you didn't really answer the question.

As far as I can tell your stated reasoning for being willing to yeet April at a moments go is "you read the thread", and for Dina it's "she's been lurking".

I have to say, for being super basic questions of "why are you willing to yeet them suddenly" I don't really feel like you've given any insight to your thought process.

Conversely, genny/cray/dubz all agreeing on Vis while sussing each other on thread feels like a setup

that seems a little complex, i think maybe 2 of them could be wolf but not all 3

Anyone who is 100% confident in their reads is either a seer or a wolf. But the game doesn't work if we don't question each other. If you're village, just try your best and be honest about your answers. Don't make up reads you don't believe in just because people are asking you about them, that only makes you look worse.

this is very good advice WHICH made my little brain itch go remember when you were told to be sus of helpful people so idk if that's something that's applying here, but at least noted. I can't say much bc i try to be helpful to noobs when i can, being a nooblet myself

In general so far, it kinda feels like many people are trying to switch up their meta, or still establishing one, so there's a lot of static for me in what's been posted so far.

Genny's being a tisch more jokey and chaotic that usual, but nothing that's stuck out to me as particularly sus yet
Dubz is definitely excited to be here...but whether to read that through genny's lens of possibly 3P role, or as any of the potentially NAI reasons April listed, IDK yet
Cray feels the most normal, typical meta, village!cray out of anybody

It started as a joke, but I think imma leave my vote where it is on dubz for now. There's something there.

I second wanting to hear more. Not sure how I feel about kras's post. There are some original points brought up, and I like that her position on the usefulness of wolfhunting day 1 has flipped from wolfing last game, but this vague promise of future reasons for throwing sus on Dubz doesn't sit right.

I've never seen her wolf before, but I initially wondered about that before with her last game. But then I settled in to my village read, which turned out correct. Also, what she said makes sense with IRL playing. Sometimes I'll be riding in the car (husband driving) and trying to catch up on the thread and reacting, then get home, take my dogs out, unload the groceries, whatever, finish my catchup and finally be able to post. Now someone could see my first reacts when I first got in the car, and then posting 2 hours later, and say a ha! A lurker! It's just how it is when you're playing asynchronous like this and fitting the game into your life. It's NAI to react and then post later.

Agreed with this. Dina's lurking feels like the busy sort of lurking, and I wrongly read her wolfy largely because of it for most of last game.

Ditto. I'd rather risk misyeeting a villager and then having lots of info from others' responses to the interrogation/leading up to the misyeet than misyeeting a villager because we don't have enough info and there's no pressure on wolves and then still having too little info.

In seriousness, this whole exchange feels very NAI and I don't think it's going anywhere. Sunny's feelings about interrogation are Sunny's feelings, and shorty, AM, WZ, and cray's (iirc who was in this conversation) are theirs across games regardless of whether they're wolf or village. Personally, I think it's a useful wolfhunting tool and part of the game's fun, but I want to say that it should never go to the point of personal attack. If anyone feels like it's gone too far for them then I'm very sorry and hope they can work out the issue with the people they feel attacked by and still have fun playing.

I moved Genny back to neutrals because of her feuding with sunshine, it didn’t sit right with me

Thank you for explaining the moves in your reads. What about genny's feud with sunshine? I'm curious because I've found plenty of reasons to be sus of genny yet that exchange didn't really register with me, and I'm wondering if I'm missing something about sunny.

I think the "not commented yet" was about MsP. I think bringing up the same point others have about there being better vote candidates than someone who we have no posts to analyze, will get little info from flip since no interactions (just others defending vs pushing her), and may get modkilled anyway.

I am still puzzled why Z and sloth are pushing you for your MsP vote but not AM or vetsplz.
