Thinking of rescheduling DAT, how will this affect my application/chances?

I find the stress of having the test soon is getting me up all night
I mean I always sleep at 4 am or 5 am.
now I have to sleep at 6 am or beyond.
and he'll pay again if the date is soon and he is not ready again
so far I re-scheduled 4 times
it was on the 4th
then I made it 10th
then I made it 14th
then I made it 21st ( I payed like 25, 25, 60, 60 dollars)
now I know I won't be ready on the 21st, but I am trying to keep it on 21st to force myself to be ready.
I have to travel for 3 days in august, and that is screwing everything for me.

Oh no I meant he should decide on a date soon. It doesn't have to be a soon date. From my experience when I didn't have a date, I wasn't studying as hard as I should have bcuz I kept saying "it's ok I'll just push it back an extra few days"
Also keep in mind he starts school on the 23rd or something like that.

Bio: I read through Cliff's and Kaplan for that, took notes, didn't retain much, so I'm gonna use Feralis Biology notes for a thorough review.

It's hard to retain with just reading. Unless you have a photographic memory (the superpower I most wish for!), retention will only happen with repetition and quizzing. I'd make sure to include either making physical quiz cards or using an app. I use ASDA's for natural sciences, and it really helps me keep track of what I know and what I don't ⚡ DAT Flashcards

When do you think is the latest I should reschedule? I'm scheduled August 4th right now and there's availability to reschedule on August 8, 15, 22, and 23.

Instead of picking a random date, it might be best to do some research/calculations and approach this strategically. First, it's hard for us to say which date is right, since we don't know what schools you're applying to, and what their individual deadlines are. I'd take an hour to call up the schools admin offices and confirm the latest date. Then, looking at your current scores compared to your target scores, do you think a few days will make enough difference? If you do go to the trouble of rescheduling, I'd give yourself at least an extra week to strengthen your knowledge, and would make a pretty rigorous schedule for each extra day you have. But of course make sure to rest the day before the test so you're not too exhausted 🙂 Best of luck to everyone with exam dates coming up!!!

I read cliff using the pdf reader, I read it again and highlight like crazy haha.
I watch videos on the same topic
and if time allows it, I read feralis or kaplan blue book or cambell power point, cliff does not cover everything so we need to read extra stuff.
Then I solve the questions at the end of the book.
Of course the plan is do destroyer next but "when" is the real question.
Also I use quizlets flash cards.

Right on. I dropped cliffs and am strictly using destroyer so we'll see where this takes me.

Hey!
I'm in the same boat! My my DAT is 7/31, so I only have about a week left.

PAT: Using Crack DAT PAT. Getting 18s. Meh.
QR: Using Math Destroyer. It's embarrassing how bad I'm doing.
Bio: I read through Cliff's and Kaplan for that, took notes, didn't retain much, so I'm gonna use Feralis Biology notes for a thorough review. For questions, I'm also using DAT Destroyer. Though I'm naturally good at it, I still need more practice.
RC: I have to start doing some RC problems too, I think I'm going to use Kaplan.
OC/GC: I watched Chad's videos, and now I'm doing DAT Destroyer for the second time for OC and GC. I'm slowly improving in those two, but I'm not where I want to be.

Basically, I'm not feeling prepared at all for any subject. I know that I also need to take some practice exams too.

I have no idea how much I can improve in just a week, but I'm thinking that if I'm still not feeling ready two days before my test date, I'm rescheduling. I figure that $100 is worth the reschedule for a higher score, but someone already mentioned how taking the test mid-August is risky. I wonder if someone had a different experience. The earliest test dates after 7/31 are 8/3 and 8/17.

Also, side note, I submitted my AADSAS application about a month ago, and I had already indicated when I would take my DAT. If I do end up rescheduling, do I need to inform all the schools I applied to?

BIO 20 / GCHEM 20 / ORGO 20 / QR 17 / RC 24 / PAT 19
I'm honestly happy with my scores. Yea it's not a 21 or 24, but still, I know my own capabilities, and this is a huge achievement for me.

I was actually going to reschedule it after taking the 2009 practice test on Saturday. I got 19 in TS, 16 QR, 21 PAT. I couldn't reschedule bc I forgot that it's only allowed to do so at least one business day before. If you're scheduled on a Monday like me, be careful about when to reschedule.

I think I lucked out on Bio. I didn't study it as much as Gen Chem and Orgo. Most of it was topics I knew were from courses I took over the past two years so it was still fresh.

Gchem was really doable. They didn't give difficult numbers for like rate law and stuff. Orgo was a blur. I don't remember much. But questions were similar to what was on DAT destroyer. I'm glad I went through it twice, especially since I haven't taken Gen Chem 2 yet. My school is weird; they make you take Gen Chem 1, then Orgo 1, Orgo 2, then Gen Chem 2 last. I thought not taking GC2 before the DAT was going to be a problem, but Chad's videos helped a lot.

Yea QR is low but I expected it to be. For some reason there was a lot of probability on mine, and that's my worst subject. Do school's really pay attention to QR or nah?

I thought PAT was going to be higher, angles were probably the culprit again. Pattern folding, hole-punching, and cubes were a lot easier than Crack DAT PAT. Or maybe I thought they were haha.

RC: I only ended up doing one practice reading section. I didn't do that great on it. But the real DAT had a highlighting feature, it honestly helped me find answers more quickly. The paragraphs are numbered, so I wrote down key words for each paragraph on the little white board they gave me.
