I just got a call from Loyola today -- and I'm in!

Can't wait to meet you all... I know Chicago pretty well and I'll be moving out there shortly!

I'm moving from the east coast -- its going to be a long drive.

But, I went to college in Chicago, so it's not a move I haven't done before. 🙂

Well, after yet another Thursday filled with no hope for waitlist movement, Timmy is officially signing off the Loyola thread. At this point there would have to be a miracle to pull Timmy off that waitlist now. Moreover, I want to start to put some ducks in a row and be ready for school. I keep kind of blowing off the school I have been accepted to as I want to go to Loyola so badly, but, I really think it in my best interests to get all psyched up about where I am accepted and if Loyola does call, well, it will be a pleasant surprise.

However, I will definitely have to stop by and meet you all someday!

Any of you Loyola peeps know what the screening requirement is for Loyola?
I was verified on 6-23 and haven't gotten my secondary in the mail yet and others have. Any chance that an 8 on VR would have screened me out?

YOU'RE SECONDARY APPLICATION QUESTIONS STINK!!!

One of the questions asks about independent research (not lab). So, I thought they were trying to screen out book worms. I guess I've read a little about Africa and I want to go someday (possibly to provide free medical care). But still, I've only read a little. I spend my summers working, wakeboarding, and enjoying myself, not at the public library. Anyone else feel that same way?

And, yeah, the questions are lame. I'm still waiting for my secondary in the mail though.
