No you shouldn't freak out. Do whatever makes you happy in the summer, don't worry about what looks good on your app. It looks good if you're passionate about it. Now get off the internet and go out, it's Friday night

One B will is not a death knell to your application. (For that matter, either would one C. Or multiple Bs.)

It's not time to freak out. It is time to either study chemistry, watch Netflix, go out with your friends, or go to sleep.

Do the best you can to raise the current grade as much as possible. For summer I would probably pick the research position and also shadow a physician like 2-3 hours a week. Use the rest of time to have fun relax.
