I'm aiming for a 240. I'm a little over 4 weeks away from test date. Just took NBME 3 and scored a 214. I still haven't made the first run through yet, should be done with that in about 3 days. Have done 60% of Qbank and will buy world today or tomorrow. Is it still possible to get a 240 if I study my buttay off or should I start thinking about a lower score? honesty is much appreciated.

How long have you been studying already, apart from the qbank?

What are you planning to do in the next four weeks?

Why is your status "pre-medical?"

Uber-gunners are starting to do Usmleworld the summer before MS-1

i love the interrogation

I thought the first two answers would help to give better information.

I haven't taken Step I yet so I'm not an expert, but if the OP wants my second hand advice, I've heard of many people going up 30-40 points in four weeks. However, that's usually from a baseline of minimal review. It sounds like it's more difficult to come up in scores once you've gone through all the material. Hence my questions.

I don't mind the questions really, as long as they help. We just had our last day of school this week. So I've been "studying" for about 6 weeks. Now, I'm looking to hardcore study/memorize for 4 weeks until my test. have made it through about 75% of FA/RR/BRS physio. Looking to finish the remaining 25% this week and then spend 3 weeks reviewing everything again as many times as I could...yeah i was a little bummed about my first score, hopefully it will just motivate me to study more and more.

I just took Step 1 the other day. I started my review at 209 on form 4 approximately 6 weeks before the exam. I took NBME Form 5 and scored 220 and then a USMLEWorld Sim Exam for a 234 just a few days before the exam. Overall correct on USMLEWorld timed/no repeats: 62%.

I am currently on rotations (surgery) as a third year medical student. In 6 weeks I was able to improve the score approximately 20 points. I am nothing special intellectually so it is perfectly reasonable for you to jump 26 points in 4 weeks. Good luck! 👍
