This may be an odd question, but I was wondering if it is too late to forward an AMCAS to additional schools. I just found out I'm waitlisted at U-Michigan and I only applied to three other schools (MSU, Wayne, MCW). I haven't heard about an interview yet from any of those schools, so I'm getting a little discouraged. My AMCAS, like many others has yet to be processed, but I'm on the so-called priority list--whatever that's supposed to mean. I thought it might improve my chances to forward my app on to a few extra places, but was wondering whether or not it was too late in the game. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I would say it's definitely not too late, especially this year. I would encourage you to do it. I really feel med school admissions is a crap shoot, so it's best to apply to as many schools as possible.

Totally agree. Adding school is no big deal, except for money. Just go ahead.
