Travel Reimbursements???

So I've been applying to schools that are all over the country. Now that I've started receiving interview invitations, I'm realizing how expensive all the airfare and hotels are going to cost. Does anyone know if DPT programs offer travel reimbursements or Skype interviews??

More specifically, Emory or NAU.

I don't know about reimbursements (I would think they wouldn't), but to save some bucks, I'd look into Airbnb too - I am doing two interviews a week a part, and I was able to find rooms to stay in for lower prices (40-50$) hopefully that'll help some!

ATSU does skype interviews. I have the same issue. I got an interview for Belmont but had to decline because i didn't have the money for travel.

I would be shocked if you found someone who reimbursed (HUGE expense for the college for whatever number of applicants). I know my college did a skype interview for one of my classmates who lived across the country. Can't hurt to ask?

Not yet, but I received an email from them that they are sending out interview invitations during the first week of November, and flight prices are only going up.

No school will reimburse you. The majority of programs don’t care about the costs you incur before, during, or after attending.
