So, SERP is a 2 month summer program in which you compete for spots in the incoming class. For the first month you take a bunch of skill based courses (study techniques, how to work in groups, etc). The second month is basically an introduction to the first 2 years of the vet school curriculum. How you perform on the exams is the main judge of whether you will get in. There are people there watching you, so there are other factors involved. It also depends on the number of people already accepted to the incoming class. All you can do is show your best you and do your best work. It's a great program to get you accustom to the work and pace of vet school, and even better if you get in because you'll have met most of the professors you will have your first 2 years.
