Thanks! 👍

Anyone? Nobody?

Anyone? Nobody? There's got to be some one out there reading that has some idea about the program!

My biggest question and concerns are why they lost so many residents?

cuz of the way the program is set up....do an intern year then disappear for 4 yrs then come back a chief.....and cuz its so damn cold in pittsburgh

Anyone with information about the OMS portion of their training (anyone a current resident there right now)? Some questions:

  1. ... I know they're strong in craniofacial surgery because of their Program Director...

  1. Be careful here. If a program has a fellowship, then those cases often get operated by the fellow, so the residents potentially see even less. But not always. I don't know about U Pitt though, but it's something to think about.

I heard Costello and his fellow are not very busy w/ craniofacial cases due to a plastic surgeon dominating the craniofacial arena at UPMC.

It's true.....i know a former graduate who did VERY FEW cases during his fellowship....was disappointing
