One of my nightmares involved that there was a pre-requisite for medical school of a golf class, and I had blew off the golf class since I figured I could just pass the golf exam and be fine. Turns out I had missed the golf exam and now I was going to flunk golfing and not be able to go to med school.

Well, I've been gone for a little bit and it doesn't look like I missed anything 🙁. Congrats to the only person to hear anything in two weeeks!!! haha...oh this is just getting more and more torturous...my life is literally on hold until I know whether I am in or not. Well, I'll keep crossing my fingers and avoiding ladders and black cats and all that jazz. Good luck to everyone else, hopefully we'll hear something soon!

Topspin, i called to see what the deal was. To be honest, calling doesn't do any good anyways. They give you the same response all the time. Basically, "they are still in the middle 1/3, moving down. They have not reached the bottom 1/3. It has been going through being slow, to having movement to being slow again. There is no way of knowing how the list will move later becuase anything can happen come the next few weeks." It's sad that i know what they say by heart...But thats all the information they are giving us at the moment.👎

How frustrating! Also, Mr. Rosso is on summer hours now so he's only in from 8 - 12 these days. Do you think someone else will call in the afternoon if there's a spot or they'll just wait until the next day?

Its all kind of dependent on all the other schools too =/.

I was thinking about it, but I'm slated to take the Aug 6th MCAT, thats the last day we'll hear from buffalo =/.

Website says primary due Aug 1 and everything else Aug 31. How long does it take to get results these days?

I think it's a lot shorter than us paper-based folks, when we had to walk uphill both ways in the snow while waiting 8-10 weeks for results! 😉

Hahah funny thing is that i took the paper test back in the day.. trying to get use to the computer test now... it takes 4 weeks or so.

This could mean that some people plan on registering late or some are waiting for other wait lists to move.

gahhh...i dont think we actually know how many ppl are still actually considering the school still. I feel that trying to predict something like this is like trying to predict what the weather will be like 3 weeks from now, its not possible...I just want a phone call!! hahah

actually, Jeff is in the office, and will be making calls until 5pm eastern time. I think though, that between 12:00 and 12:30pm, the office takes a lunch break. LOL, this is sad i know their schedule.

I think the reason why there is such a low number of ppl registered for classes is simply because many of the acceptees haven't taken the time to do it. I didn't do it till last week or so (and I was accepted in March), but basically all you have to do to register is call up an automated system and type in one 5-6 digit number and it chain registers you for all your classes (and I think it might even register your for your 2nd year as well??). Anyways I wouldn't use that number as a good indicator of how many people are planning on going there, because I'm sure theres quite a few that just haven't done it yet.

Earlier today I called Buffalo, Jeff picked up and told me that most of the acceptance calls will be in the morning when Mr. Rosso is around. Jeff will be there to pick up the responses the go over to the afternoon. So for my case... by the time I wake up around 9 am, the calling period is over hahahahha...

Jeff also said theres been about 5 people taken off the list in the past few days.

Im surprised none of us on this list have been taken off. We must be bunched together. =/

Tomorrow is another day good luck all, usually I love weekends, but lately I don't like them too much.
