Anyone know what's going on at Irvine?

How many people have they accepted?

When do they stop interviewing?

When will they review the files of people that are on "hold"...

By the way, I interviewed in Nov., and Gayle told me over the phone that I'm on "Hold", but I never received anything in writing... no email, nothing... is this the case for everyone else too?

i just got an interview invite today from uc irvine for April 4th. so they are still sending out interview invites.

When I got put on hold at UCI, the email they sent made it sound like they won't even look at your application again until June. Then if you look good in June, they'll consider putting you on the ALTERNATE list, not even a direct acceptance.

I just got an e-mail from Irvine yesterday - it said that they are still sending out interview invites, but will make ALL decisions regarding interviews by 1 April.

As for how many they've accepted, I can't really help you there.

The way I understand it, if we haven't yet been invited for an interview or rejected, we'll hear about that by 1 April. Post-interview decisions are an entirely different matter.
