Are you posting this at someone else's request or advertising it as some remote way of determining whether or not you've been accepted before receiving the letter? (please say it's the latterpinkey said:

Or on the status page why not next to letter sent -- have an A, W, or Rpinkey said:i think the question remains: "why postal mail?!"

I think that if you're interviewing for a waitlist spot, they specifically make mention of it in the invite letter. Good luck.calidreaming said:I have been watching this thread because I am interviewing at UCLA in a week or so. Anyone else out there doing that? Since they sent out a large batch of acceptance, are the odds that I am I pretty much interviewing for the waitlist at this point?
SlippingSloth said:waitlisted 🙁 o well
Strongly looks that wayLabslave said:So what do you think, guys? All of the letters from 3/3 were indeed waitlists?

Oh, man...this isn't looking good.EastCstBound said:I'm also 3/3 just got my letter.. waitlisted
Hmm...I don't think it could hurt you now. After all, you're letter is supposedly already in the mail and on its way. I think I'm going to call and see if I can get a confirmation that it was indeed a mixed batch (seeing as it was mentioned before that this was the case).drhouse said:What do you think they'll say if I walk down there and try and get a hint right now? Can't hurt.
Jaja1 said:Hello, I interviewed 11/10/05 and have been waiting patiently for 1/15/06 (the date the UCLA SOM website says applicants will be notified of acceptance) to come. Unfortunately, this is a Sunday, and I have a feeling acceptances won't come until the 17th! Does anyone know whether acceptances are snail mailed, e-mailed, or phone called?
Thanks!

drhouse said:Bad news. 3/7 is bad. We're 'hold.' ie low-priority waitlist. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Maybe your letters will be different. I'm done with this thread. On to the columbia waitlist...

thx
billybama said:Since I am not likely to ever receive an acceptance (much less a waitlist--ranked or otherwise) can someone please post the first paragraph of each one? I just want to know sort of what they sound like....
I'll be sure to let you in on the rejection letter... 😡
