i was interviewed on 11 aug .. and i have taken only part 1 .. so people with only part 1 have a a chance too!

So my hope is drowning now.coz I was interviewed on the 14th.🙁
feeling really really depressed guys..!!Anyway congrats to all who got accepted..enjoy guys!!👍

No point getting depressed....Always hope for the best 🙂......Last year people got acceptance as late as December...........its not over yet!

We are in the same boat:scared:, I knew that for last year class, some people got their acceptance untill Dec, and after my interview they said that to me. Unfortunatly, I am also can't wait to see my result and so to know my next step . Any way we have nothing to do about that and we have to keep our hopes and keep checking our mails:xf:

Hi, do you have any idea about their cut off scores i.e the least scores that got accepted into the UIC? 😕

I think they look at the way we perform during the interview.
How was yours? were you able to answer the questions??😕
 
I didn't stay silent, I spoke about all the qs; however, I don't know what they want to hear.?

Hello all

Congrats to those they have been accepted. Good luck and god bless to those that are waiting.

FYI:

UIC is a great dental college - a lot of hard work 🙂. I really do like it here, as far as minimum score to get in, there is no such thing. On average Part I 85-90+, Toefl at least 100, and decent GPA. As far as how they choose applicants it is based on the interview and clinical/practical. Like I said before they look at the application and student as a whole and choose based on who will fit the program. I am not saying one student is better then other, but there are 30 spots and they have to narrow down. I am not any part of the admissions, but this is just my opinion.

u have been such an active member and has always helped UIC candidates .. i love the fact that u love UIC so much 🙂 .. feels great to be a part of UIC soon! thanks

i haven given part 2 till now .. haven started studyin either .. since u r a part of coll .. what do u suggest .. should i do part 2 now and be done with it .. or does it make it easier to do while in school in final yr as i have heard school helps u prep for it ? need ur opinion on it ..also i dont like studying all alone .. so was more confused about it .

They said, there will be some interviews in September as well.Not sure if they are done or still conducting.

Hii, cong. for you acceptance. when was your interview? and when did you receive you acceptance? I know the living in chicago will be expensive but it's deserved it, I am still waiting to hear from them👍
 
hi guys. did anybody esle get admission? any news from UIC?
 
There system is too weird. I have seen some people on SDN were interviewed in Aug last year and then wait till dec for acceptance but no admission while some other who were interviewed in nov or dec got accpetance. Does it mean they have already accepeted people from aug batch and now they will interview more people for rest of the seats?

nobody knows what are they doing , but i read somewhere that they already have done with intreveiws. actually, if they are still inviting, it doesn't mean that they are better that who was interviewed in Aug. waitting 3 month for result is too much😡

Isnt this only about undergrad admissions at Univ IL- Urbana-Champaign and not at UIC?

Oh Please, wanna tell me that this does not happen in all other schools!! I think I like UIC even better now that they had to step down and put an end to this issue, or at least, they are publicly trying.

Remember GWB went to Yale too, that is a scandal on its own!

I totally agree with firasoblast... This happens everywhere, and the fact that they plan to fix it, makes them better then all the rest...

Plus it doesn't refer to UIC like crossbite stated..
 
after my application was complete..i got first email today from them saying that thanks for my interst..interviews will be conduced from aug-nov..you will be informed if you are selected for an interview and ur final result regarding your application will be declared in jan.......does that mean anything....I am guessing they are going to send next mail in jan saying you are not selected for this cylce or u think i can still get an interview!!

Got a similar e-mail.......i guess they might be preparin another batch for interviews........lets hope my guess comes true and hold our spirits high!.........

i was interviwed in aug n today i got an email tht my application is still being reviewed n tht i can hear nething till jan...urgh the wait...they also said they will b conducting interviews.....
did neone else get this email
 
I got the same e-mail too....I just want to know, if those who went to the interview in Aug, received a call or all the communication was only by regular mail or e-mail...
I send my application in June and nothing yet, JUST ONLY THIS e-mail.. Please reply

I am like you, got no e mail but had interview.
