I really did love the school and would go there in an instantbut it doesn't look too good for me right now. Do you think I should email Lisa Lane and see if she might be able to tell me anything as to why?
I applied right before the deadline as well unfortunately, so I partially blame myself for the situation that I'm in. As for emailing, calling her, or waiting it out I'm not sure what you should do. It MIGHT be a good idea to draft up a letter of intent/interest (after your exams) expressing how much you love UNECOM, the community, the opportunities it allows, etc. as well as stating your desire to do whatever you can to become a part of that community either now or next year. Maybe include an interest as to how you might "beef up" your application (in case they do want to interview you/all of us). That might elicit a response as to what qualities/qualifications you might be deficient in. I personally am all for getting in my car, making an appointment to meet with Ms. Lane, and then sitting down in person and discussing my interest/questions I have if she has the time.
Who knows, maybe I can gain some further insight by talking to students/faculty at the Osteoblast. At least I'll hopefully gain a better understanding and appreciation of how awesome UNECOM will be when I am accepted by going (and the free food is cool).
I hope you'll keep me (and all of us) informed and I wish you the best of luck
