University of St Augustine Fall 2012 Wait List

After looking at every St. Augustine post I could find over the last 3 years, I see that there have been some major changes to the St. Augustine WaitList protocol.

I'm currently waitlisted for the fall semester (2012), and it looks like up until about a year ago, people were able to get a little more information about their waitlist status. It appears that they have stopped releasing what number you are on the waitlist, and it's no longer guaranteed placement in the following semester after being waitlisted (I was also waitlisted for the summer semester).

Has anyone else had a similar experience? Anyone had more luck getting info from the admissions office than I have? How many people are placed on the waitlist, the number you are, etc...

I'm sorry to hear that you're on the waitlist 🙁 I know it's not the greatest feeling- I was on the waitlist for both summer and fall term. But I did hear back this past week saying that they had a last min cancellation, and that I can join the May term, which starts in a month (in SD campus).

While I was on the waitlist, I called them several times, but they would not release any info. Plus I felt like they didn't even bother look at my app for re-eval for the fall term, but rather put me straight to the fall term waitlist. So what I'm guessing is that they'll keep you on the waitlist for the fall term and possibly for the winter term, but you'll get in eventually.
Just hang in there and I hope things will work out for you 🙂

Thanks for the response, and congratulations on getting accepted for the summer semester! That's great! I'm waitlisted for the St. Augustine campus.

Hopefully I am actually moving up on the list. I had the same experience as you where it didn't seem like they even reevaluated my application when the time came. Guess we'll see what happens.

I know that feel. I was wait listed for fall 2012 as well. I feel zero chance of getting in jan or feb( forgot when winter cohort starts) . It's for the San Marcos campus so I doubt there will be any dropouts.

If it helps, I was initially waitlisted for the summer class then got accepted right away for the fall class..I'm not taking my spot though!
