Do we submit our updated semester grades to UOP or let academic update do it for us through PharmCAS? My friend said he emailed one of the advisers his grades for fall semester.
 
I am tier 2 and i received a letter from them at Nov 8 saying that they have to defer their decision and will review at late Jan
It is already mid Jan now but i havent heard anything from them
Is my chance of getting an interview really low???? :scared:

If you are pretty certain that you will be going to UoP in the Fall then you will send the updated transcript to them. If you are still considering other schools then you would send the transcripts to PharmCAS.
 
how long does it usually take to hear back?
I just had my interview on the 14th.

I received notification of my acceptance via email, exactly one week from the day of my interview.

To be honest you probably wont hear anything from them soon. You have to remember that the faculty and interview board are responsible for other jobs so it may take a whole for them to review all the applicants before making a decision. Regardless don't lose hope. Usually if they defer you they may have open slots for you the last weeks UOP does interviews. When other students get accepted to their top choice school they cancel their interview with UOP and then you may get an open slot for an interveiw.

It depends. If you did great on you interview they will send out an accetance email within a week but usually they will let you know where you stand 2-3 weeks of your interview.
 
Does anyone know how many more interviews are left? Are they going to interview through march or what?

I interviewed the 14th as well, and rec'd an e-mail this morning saying I was accepted. Very quick they are. 🙂

I was interviewed on 11/19/2010 and was put on hold.
I just got the acceptance packet today in the mail 😀
 
Accepted!!!!!! I haven't check my mail box for 3 days. And Today!!! I received the admission letter! It's a surprise because I thought they would send me an email first!!!! I was interviewed on Oct15th and my application was put on hold. See you guys in August!!! I am looking for a carpool from Sacramento to school.

usc has always been my 1st choice, so as excited as i am to get an acceptance from the school i have been interviewed at, i am not going to make the deposit for uop.
i hope you get my spot =)
 
Hi guys, I interviewed on Friday the 28th, and I think everything went pretty well. I felt like I ran out of ideas to write about on the topic but the interviews went really well. Hope to see you guys in class in August!! :xf:

They said that we won't find out until about 2 weeks because they have some other meetings to attend which will delay the responses.

I received my acceptance today!!!! I interviewed on 1/21 for reference for you guys 🙂
 
I interviewed on Jan 21 and got my acceptance today!🙂 Feels great! For those who have been accepted, are you planning to live on-campus or off-campus??
 
Does anybody know if UOP is done interviewing and accepting applicants? I am in tier 3 and applied late in October and have yet to hear anything back other than my file was complete. It is my top choice school and would really appreciate any advice. 🙂
 
I think they said they still have at least 2 more dates 🙂 my friend has this friday and i believe there's one more next week.. I'm not sure about after that, but these 2 for sure!
 
these two weeks are going to be the looongest two weeks ever 🙁 It's only been 3 days since the interview lol

Congratulations!!! I really hope I get to join you! Sweet, I know what you mean! I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything, but it looks like most the people interviewing lately on the forums have gotten accepted. From what I heard theres about 40 spots open still, not counting any that may open up as other schools start sending out acceptance letters too. It's gonna be a rough two weeks! BTW I was the guy in the gray suit from Fresno.
 
Yep.. it's too bad that they had to go the state meeting this week.. otherwise we could've gotten a response sooner next week! I think I remember you.. do you have a Mohawk? I was the shortest girl there lol.. black jacket

Haha no, but I do remember the mohawk guy, I sat on the other side of the room. I was fairly clean cut so no crazy hair day for me that day.

I think they interview through the end of February, from what I've heard. Good luck.

I submitted my supplemental mid october. so tier 3. interviewed in january. One of the uop students there told me they will probably have interviews into/until march. hope that helps.
 
If anyone has been accepted to this school, please let me know so you can be added to the roll call for 2014/2015. Please post in the sticky thread or PM me your acceptances and the program you will be attending (if accepted to multiple schools).🙂

Interviewed on 1/14 and received my acceptance on 1/27!
I just received an acceptance from USC though, so I won't be putting down a deposit.
Hope that opens up a spot for those of you on hold! 🙂

just claled uop to see when they were gonna give out the decisions and they said they started mailing them out and should be all mailed out by today!! 😱 even more nervous now!!

Wow, as soon as I read that, I could feel a knot in my throat. UOP is my only choice in school because I have a family and it's proximity to my hometown (Fresno). Good luck Sweet! I think the odds are in our favor, we were able to convince them to give us an interview, and we care enough to be in these forums to be talking about it in the first place is an accomplishment in itself. I'll be crossing my fingers and toes right next to ya !

Yeah for me, it was my first interview! I'm waiting eagerly for UOP and western both! Although western is my first choice since I'm from Socal and wanna stay close to family.. I would be more than happy to go to UOP if i dont get into western! Since they're doing mail now and you live closer, you'll probably hear before me! Good luck to youu!! 👍 im sure everything will work out! Since this is your first choice, i hope you get into UOP and I hope I get into Western :xf: But all this wait is just unbearaaaable..

Just an FYI, I'm from SoCal and it took 3 working days from the date posted on the letter for me to get it in the mail
