So I check my mailbox today...and there sits an envelope from UOP. "yeah buddy" I think to myself.
Then I open it up.
it's a "checklist evaluation!" Awww man! Guess I have to wait a bit longer. PCHK date of 09/22.

after finding out yesterday that people started to get interview invites from tier 1 i kept telling myself to stay optimistic
and today, i came home to find out i received an interview invitation!
i'll have to call tomorrow to schedule a date now.

For those who have not yet submitted their applications - don't worry. Although it COULD be bad to submit your application late... I think it's better to turn in your best work a little later opposed to satisfactory work super early. I submitted my application late-October and my interview date was late January... so stay focused (and diligent). Good luck!

I submitted mine in July for Tier 1, but I haven't received anything about an interview. 🙁 Which part of SoCal are you from?
I'm from so cal and I haven't received anything yet. However my pchk is 9/18.
I'm also from So Cal with a pchk of 9/11. No interview invite yet, but you shouldn't worry too much about it. Seems like all the people that got an invite so far had a pchk about a week before us, so the earliest we'd hear is probably next week. Anyways, it's still early in the review process. I wouldn't start panicking until tier 2 starts getting examined.
My pchk is 9/08. Nothing in the mail today either.
I'm from socal as well with the same pchk date and haven't received an invite yet! I'm hoping to get an envelope sometime next week.

my PCHK date was 9/10, and i received my interview invite on thursday (i'm from the bay area)
wow, congrats! your pchk date is after mine. there goes my theory that I haven't gotten an invite yet b/c my pchk date is later. bummer.

at open house they said they are offering 250-300 interviews....i am not sure if that includes their own pre pharm thoughhh 😕

I'm in the same boat, but remember, our applications will get tossed in the pile with the Tier 2, then Tier 3 applicants... we get three chances! 🙂

yep...i applied last year and was tier 1 but they didn't show me any love and no interview until i got a reject letter at the end through all three tiers....hopefully they'll like me this time around 🙂

Do UOP pre-pharms even have to interview? I thought it was a guaranteed transfer into the pharmD program if you do their 2+3 3+3 or 4+3 program. I hope it's 350 interviews just pertaining to outside transfer students; better chances for everyone else!

They do have to go through interivews.
oh, did they not meet the min gpa requirements...I thought if they pretty much meet the min requirements they got in....didn't know that!
ya, i think that UOP undergrads pretty much get in, even if they weren't pre-pharm... tha'ts what the people at the open house said.
i'm pchk date 9/22 (app completed 8/1)... i'm tier 1, still waiting for something besides that checklist thing!

I'm from socal and I just received my interview invite today! So excited!!!
My pchk date is 9/11. I called but haven't set my interview date yet. I'm scared Oct 24 would not be enough time to practice for the interview.Everyone, hang in there!
