Hey all,
I have been following the progress of everyone's wait-list status. I actually applied to Upstate's Early Assurance program... I was curious if anyone had heard anything about it. Every time I call the admissions office I get a different answer (is this pretty much always the case for you guys??) First time, the secretary told me that interview invitations will be mailed out in the next couple of weeks, and yesterday when I called the lady said that they were making phone calls to set up interviews and had already made most of them. Now I am getting a bit worried. I emailed Ms. Welch about 4 days ago but she still hasn't responded, I'm figuring that her answer will, of course, be most accurate.
My stats are: GPA 3.5, research, clinical, and volunteer expereince, well rounded in music and theater, and I go to a tier-1 school. I also had letters of receommendation from physicians, one of which is on the board of trustees at upstate(MCATS aren't required for the program since you apply after your sophomore year). I really thought that I'd at least get an interview.
Any thoughts? Thanks.
