is it possible to obtain urine directly from the urinary bladder with a syringe and needle (Urocentesis ?) in the horse like in dogs and cats?

I think when we talked about large animal urinary systems our professors said that it isn't really done because there is too much other stuff (i.e. intestines) in the way. I feel like they said there is some way to do it but I don't remember what it would have been.
