I propose a new ranking system where the USNWR Research Rankings are averaged with the Associated Press Top 25 Basketball Rankings.

This idea is awesome, but Duke would be undisputed #1 in that case. Followed by UNC
If we counted only football, Stanford would dominate, prolly followed Michigan (discounting last year), then UWash/UCLA. OSU and Bama's ranking would go top 15
To make the rankings more holistic, we should give each school more points for each to 25 sports team they have, kinda like the honor roll thing.
We should make a petition!
I think UMich would be #2 (#8 in basketball right now). UNC would be #3 followed by maybe UVA or Wisconsin Madison.
As long as we don't count crew Harvard is screwed.
I'm combing through the rankings right now, will update when finished

Just when UMass was slowly chipping away at that research ranking, they get pulled right back down. Does OHSU get a ranking by proxy of Oregon and Oregon St.?

TruthAs it should be. West coast best coast
ThisI admit to not having looked into this yet, but the first question that comes to my mind is, "What are these school's ratings based on?"
