Hi all,

So I know that USC's GPA minimum is 3.0 from OTCAS, but I've been told that they still review applications below this minimum (as well as below the GRE minimum) as they approach applications holistically and weigh each area equally. Just wondering if anyone here (or anyone you know) have applied with an OTCAS GPA below 3.0 and how did it go?

Thanks!

My friend got in with an overall GPA below a 3.0. She did very poorly in their undergrad and then took time off before graduation. Then when she decided she wanted to become an OT that's when she decided to go back to school finish her undergrad while taking her prerequisites at a community college. She contacted Liz to find out if she would be evaluated due to her poor GPA because she finished her undergrad with 45 credits of straight As, a 4.0 prerequisite, and studied hard for the GRE. It does happen, just contact Liz and tell her your story and stats. She will be up front with you. BUT will definitely tell you to make sure you study hard and do exceptionally well on the GRE
