i'm pretty sure if they wanted to put the rest of the interviewees on the A/C they could have done it by now. then again speculating wont get us anywhere and wont change the outcome of the situation. don't spend too much time dwelling, it's not worth it. good luck!

Oh well, you probably saved money and time by not going up there. I didn't even apply there because a friend who applied last cycle had a really bad impression of it. And I heard a girl at the USC interview loudly describing it as 'shutter island'.

i have an upcoming interview for this saturday and i heard this year's interviews are in group format; is that true? and is it a closed or open file? any helpful advice or info is most appreciated!
Yes i still need to get an interview invite. I got the eval last month too so were prolly in same tier.

No, it's not a group. It will be just you interviewed by a faculty member and a student. It is open file. My interviewer just asked for more detail out of things I said in my personal statement. They didn't seem to go into my transcripts. They acted as if they got it maybe 10 mins before I walked in..not as though they had really poured through it.

Ranked 80th by who? Last I checked, they were tied for 10th by US News & World Report.

Anyone in the same position...
Applied late September, still haven't event received a course evaluation letter... 🙁 called them numerous times and they said my app is under review... Today they said they haven't even reviewed my app because I applied "late". Did they say this to anyone else?

That's awfully weird. I sent my application Oct 30 Supplemental and Pharmcas App. They received my app around mid December. I received a complete evaluation last month. Also, there are a lot of people on the same boat as you in this thread and applied way earlier than you and me around august(?). ;/
PS: I'm still waiting for the last interview invite >_< Comeeee on USC o3o

I haven't heard a thing from them either, and I applied mid-October. By the time they even get to me, I'll have already chosen another school. My colleague thinks that perhaps they are looking at the "legacy" applicants first, and totally putting me aside because I have no connections at USC. Sounds crazy, but knowing the school, his theory may have some truth to it.

That was my situation, too. I was already accepted to another school before I could even interview at USC.
For those accepted, did you get an email for Conditional Acceptance Background Check Consent Request? I have been accepted at another school and am wondering if that is from another school or USC. (P.S. Of course, I am going to USC not the other school. Go Trojans!)

That's not true. Most people in my class are first generation college students and I can't think of anyone who has USC "connections" save for one person who did master's at our pharmacy school. We have a lot of TAP students though, but they are getting rid of that program for c/o 2017.
Oh wow, why are they removing it?? Are TAP students less successful compare to other non-TAP...hmm...?
Waiting for march ~15 to come by ;P
