is there a specific formula for your point total?
Did anybody actually get an acceptance offer yet from USN? Is USN rolling admissions, or do they decide on the whole class at one meeting?
I'll have an interview at USN on January 19th. I am very excited, but nervous because it is my school of choice.
Good luck, post on here how it went, would you?
What campus are you going to?
me too ill be heading there from cali...
where r u guys gonna stay at?
Hello everyone, ill have an interview on Feb 2nd too. Im so nervous cuz ive never been in one before wonder what they are gonna ask. Also if anyone could tell me where i can stay in Las Vegas that is affordable and close to campus (if i can walk there ). Thanks in advance and good luck to all!
Vegas has a lot of cheap hotels but the school is in Henderson and may be slightly more expensive. The Residence in by Marriott is within walking distance but might be pricey. They may shuttle you from the airport though and that can save you on a rental car.Hello everyone, ill have an interview on Feb 2nd too. Hi guys, this is my first time posting in this forum. However, I am a regular visitor to this website. I must say that this website is amazing and very helpful. I have gained a lot of knowledge and information from the postings especially the interview feedback section.
Anyway, I have always wanted to wait to make my first post after I got an acceptance into a pharmacy school. Fortunately, I did. I just got a call from Dr. DeYoung this afternoon and he also sent me the admission email. I am very happy because it's the first school I received the interview from and also the first school accepting me.
My interview was at the Nevada campus on Jan. 19th. It went very well. The faculty and the students were very nice and friendly. I had a very good impression about the school.
Just out of curiosity, is there anyone else interviewed on the 19th also getting a call from Dr. DeYoung?
Good luck and best wishes to those of you having interviews scheduled as well as had been interviewed
No, I heard interview only counts for about 2/5.I think it is a secret formula. I do know that the interview counts for 2/3 your total so it is your best interest to practice interview skills and research the type of questions that you might be asked.

No, I don't mind sharing.
I have chosen to go to Utah.
My stats are:
GPAs: 4.0 (science), 3.87 (overall)
Composite PCAT: 94
Degree: Bachelor of Science
Hope that helps.
Nice! Good luck to you too Jew Unit! I will see you there!I got an interview on Feb. 16. Good luck everybody!
That's probably GPA.
I was at the interview on Jan. 19, and the staff said that your application (including GPA, PCAT, etc) counts for the first 20 points, and your interview counts for the remaining 40 points. 40 out of 60 points is two-thirds.
Can any students at USN or other people at the interview that day verify this? Thx
