since my posts get ignored on the VCU Central thread i thought i'd start one for people who are still either complete or have a vague status e-mail. i've been complete for TEN weeks today and am still just COMPLETE. WTF is going oN?!

Could be worse, Mota. Vermont has me "complete and should hear in several weeks" since before 9/1. BEFORE SEPTEMBER. That's like 13 weeks. For the tuition price you might be paying to Vermont, I expect SOMETHING before 13 frickin' weeks. Banks foreclose on your house for being this late!!! 😡 😡 😡

vermont actually puts u in the interview pool without u knowing. ive been complete there since july... was actually put in the pool just on dec 1.... i didn't know until i called.. they really encourage people to call them.. it shows interest....

😱 I check my online status page there almost every day. Most schools yell at you if you call them and tell you to check online. How are we supposed to know?

when were you complete if you dont mind my asking? they offer 2 more batches of acceptances, once in january and once in march, so if you interview before those periods you are fair game for getting an acceptance.

I was complete at VCU on Aug. 22, so it's been almost four months for me. I'm beginning to think I'm gonna get rejected. But I'm so interested in the school, Iv'e heard so many good things about it!

I think it depends which message you get. I got the really vague one that did not mention anything about a priority score. Those that got the message mentioning the priority score seemed to get interviews within a couple of weeks from what I could tell.

Nevertheless, an invite did come about 10 weeks after I got the message, so there is hope. 🙂

they both sound equally discouraging, don't you think? i don't get why there are different versions. but someone said that when they mention priority score you usually get an invite quicker than when they don't. either way, it seems to be a right of passage before you get an interview, so i'm hangin in there.

I think their last scheduled acceptance offer date is March 20th which is when they make the waitlist for those who havent been accepted and are still on post interview hold, then they begin accepting students off that list....so Im guessing they stop interviewing early March.
