I prefer a silenced P90 with extra flash bangs, double tap and steady fire for almost any free-for-all match. For team matches, I prefer the RPD with the grip, double tap, and deep penetration. Nothing like shooting someone who thinks they're safe behind a concrete wall. 😀 Plus, a chopper doesn't stand a chance. I can take one down without even reloading.

I usually just play with any gun I need to complete the challenges for. But when playing Search and Destroy (where I need to be at my best), I always have my custom class set to: G3 with red dot sight, 3x frag grenades, stopping power, deep penetration, and 1x stun grenade.

For other big team games, I just either run around with an RPD (such a sick gun) or camp with a sniper.

Man i loved dreamcast, its too bad they didnt come out with many games.

I actually had 14 games with mine before I was dumb and sold it 🙁 Sonic Adventure, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, Phantasy Star Online, etc... good times. It was terribly lacking in the realm of RPGs sadly... however, I never tried Skies of Arcadia... I heard it was actually pretty good.

bioshock tickles my brain in a very terrible and delightful way.

i've been playing call of duty 4 a lot lately. UAV jammer, silenced m14, claymores, and extreme conditioning...i loves it.

portal and i have an on again/off again open relationship...my girlfriend loves it.

and of course, my DS. zelda: the phantom hourglass is really a treat.

Crossfire is great for snipers, and Overgrown isn't bad either. Lots of guys snipe in Bloc as well, but I don't really like to. I don't usually snipe though - I can hit someone all the way across the map with the RPD.

I'll snipe on Crossfire, but everyone knows where you are, because there are very few places you can snipe effectively, and everyone already knows all of them. same goes with Ambush.

Certain guns are acquired tastes. Can you not enter Prestige Mode on the PC version of the game? I've reset my rating 4 times now...

As for me, I'm waiting for Metal Gear Solid 4 to come out, so I can feel better about buying a PS3.

the G3 is awesome. when you're playing hardcore, it's a guaranteed 1-shot kill. not only that, but it has basically 0 recoil and your sight doesn't sway a lot when you're just looking around. it holds exactly where you want it for as long as you want. it's great for medium distance shooting.. sucks at close quarters though, since it's semi-auto.

I'm a PS3 (Call of Duty 4) and WoW player at the moment. Most of my life has been devoted to RPGs though. FF7 obviously by looking at my avatar, all of other FF's (except X-2...what a joke), Xenogears, Castlevania: Symphony of the Night ect.

I can't wait for Metal Gear Solid 4 either, but I still haven't played 3...woops.

I like the RPD with the grip, because I can get off a ton of shots at long range and potentially take out a lot of people. One squeeze of the trigger is a guaranteed kill, but it's like 2-3 bullets. It's got a pretty long range too.

You can kill someone with a grenade or a flashbang to the head, or even just to the body if they were already injured. It's an elite challenge.

Always been a video game fan. I kind of let off the pedal during college but definitely made up for it during this year off. I got the Nintendo Wii and Xbox360 (they highly complement each other). The cocky surgeon in Trauma in just too funny. The graphics and story of Assasin's is incredible and I recently got Lost Odissey, which I have not played yet but i'll let you know how it goes.

My current favourite sniping spot is on top the missile launcher on Countdown.

The G3 is a good close range gun too, you just need to learn how to pull the trigger at a faster rate - 2 or 3 good shots will kill anyone 🙂.

I used to enjoy Overkill (assault rifle + sniper = 20 kill streaks), but I find that having increased bullet damage is more beneficial. Especially on those sniper levels where guys have Juggernaut on - a single head shot from any sniper (including the .50 cal) without Stopping Power won't kill them.

Oh Call of Duty 4... it's like crystal meth on a big screen. 🙄

I'm trying to finish Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii right now. When I'm not doing that, I play COD4 or Halo 3 for the XBox360. And yes, I have played Mass Effect and I loved the gameplay/story (though some of the controls were annoying). Regardless, it's still my 4th favorite game on the 360 (1. Bioshock, 2. COD4, 3. Halo 3)

I thought it was a lot of fun. Way too short though and I wasn't able to play through it again. KOTOR, on the other hand, was a lot longer and I had a blast playing through it twice.

i started on an 8bit nintendo back in teh day and graduated to a N64 then playstation one to PS2 and now im strictly PC. I'm actually thinking of selling my PS2 and all my games...if anyones interested let me know i dont mean to plug or anything the thought just popped in my mind since i have my guitar hero controller collecting dust in the corner of my eye.

Wow, not one person mentioned Trauma Center...For the Nintendo DS! There is only one version out on the DS, which was the first of the TC series to hit the states. Personally I believe the DS version is actually BETTER than the Wii version because by holding the stylus, it makes it seem like a scapel, also it let's you have better control and speed in the game, oppose to the Wii's sometimes difficult Wiimote. Overall though, all of the TC games on both the DS and Wii are worth playing, it will help you develop your hand-eye co-ordination, just like most game do but better. There is also a knock-off game of TC on the DS, I haven't gotten a chance to pick it up but it might not hurt to try it out.

SNES -- The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

If you've never played it, it's worth buying a system or emulator just for this one game. I consider this pretty much the greatest video game ever made. (Sorry Pac-Man!)

Post-64 bit:

Super Mario Kart

The college Mario Kart tournaments were epic. I don't think anything will beat that fun 🙂
