Wait list call...who's on which one(s)?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I applied to Northeastern, Rutgers, LIU and MCPHS. NE and Rutgers rejected me (grrr!)...no word from LIU but I'm told they'll make decisions in early May. No wait list #s. Have you interviewed yet? I'm up next week. Decisions...it's a waiting game. 🙄

At least with UCSF, we get numbers. Not that it makes it any easier. :scared:

I'm waitlisted at UCSF (#25).

I applied to LIU as well, do they conduct interviews? All I got from them was a letter sometime last year telling me they received my application, but no word since...

haha well, at this point, I have pretty much accepted it as a rejection.....I don't really see anyone turning UK down, and since they don't give numbers, for all I know I could be like #10 or something, so I don't really see the point of my putting too much hope into it......

I don't understand how they can put you on the wait list without interviewing you ?? 😕

Oh well, good luck, hang in there 🙂

I'm #60!!! at UMKC. 60. I wish they would just put me out of my misery.

Creighton... no number or whatsoever =(

#60????? I didn't know schools even made waitlists that long! Hmmmm.....I guess there is always a chance it COULD happen, but still.....UK only has a waitlist of 10-15 people, and even that probably won't happen, so wow.....Of course, I saw on UC's website where they had to send out almost 150 acceptances to get 100 students, so hey, there is always a chance!

Yeah I know. It's a long shot, but I'm still a little hopeful, because think about it. When people apply to pharmacy school, they apply to tons of schools. UMKC is a 5 year program, the only pharm school I know of that's 5 years. Anyone who gets accepted theoretically has the potential to get accepted to one of those other schools they applied to. And anyone would choose a 4 year school over a 5 year school without even thinking about it. So it's possible. And someone on this site said that a couple years back, they knew the #47 alternate @ UMKC, and they ended up getting in.

Hey sorry i was the 47 and now 48 this year and nope i didn't get in. i made it to top 7 by August and that was it. I'm officially deppressed again. last year was the longest torture i think I won't be doing the hoping game this year. Well lets hope everyone on the list goes somewhere else by the time they are offered position so we get in. supposedly two years before us this chick number 50 did get in but i didn't though so i don't know anymore. Sorry to bring you down.

University of Minnesota and University of Montana

I've been waitlisted twice and from experience, being waitlisted is like a long awaited No. they give you hope by putting you on a waitlist but the number is so long and there are only so many seats in class. G'luck to everyone on the waitlist.

Waitlisted at Auburn. I was only told that I was among the latter of about 10 people, so I am still holding out hope that I might squeeze in. I think it is still a longshot though and I am not stressing myself out about it.
