Wait List Help!!!

I just found out that I have been waitlisted at DMU!! While I still view this as good news, (I was not rejected), I wanted to ask all of you what things I can do to improve my chances of being placed high on the rank list.

Do you think a letter of Interest to the Dean would help? To the Admissions Committee? Any opinions of what things I should say in the letter?

Any help would be MUCH APPRECIATED.

I was also waitlisted at dmu and was in the 4th quartile, so my chances weren't looking good. I didn't bother to contact them anymore because I figured there was no way I would get in. I received a call on the first day of classes at 3pm that I was offered a spot, so 17hrs later I was sitting in class; luckily I was living in Des Moines. I am now about to start my 4th yr. So.. there's still a good chance that you will get in.
