I called all schools I applied to make sure they've got all my materials.
My application is all completed now.
so is there anything to do now?
just waiting and waiting and checking the mailbox several times a day.
how about you guys?
You are so lucky.
If you want, you can start posting replies to other threads. (I am sure you are doing this)
And share your valuable experience. (you do this too)
Besides that, take this time to relax your brain and prepare for interviews.
I took the dat on sept 22 so my application should be complete at many schools very soon. I received one rejection from Tufts and am waiting for my first interview. All I do is read SDN which tends to make me more nervous as many people here have countless interviews and have already finished them.
I'm kind of glad I stumbled on SDN after my interviews. If I was an SDNer before my interviews last year, I'm pretty sure I would have had a nervous breakdown. But instead, my waiting experience was not that bad. Maybe the best thing to do is lay off SDN until you get that first interview invitation, and then come back and get some interview advice. It worked for me, with very little stress.
do you know why they rejected you? i wonder if there is anything else you can do to prevent more rejections coming in.
Tufts is weird... last year a friend of mine was interviewed and accepted (by Dec 2nd) at UConn and Tufts was still hung up till mid feb on the level of biochem course that she had taken two years back.
It seems this year that Tufts is rejecting alot of people that would normally had been accepted last year (based on GPA/DAT). I'm surprised to see some of the stats of rejected Tufts applicants, some of them have better numbers than I do, and I was accepted off of the waitlist last year. Can anyone say competition?
I think Im going to stay away from certain threads. I don't think I am willing to giveup SDN until my first interview. Who knows, I may not get an interview until April.
Tufts rejected on the day I took my second DAT. So they probably went by my first dat (18/18). And my gpa is really low as well.
comet i got a rejection from ohio state back in early july remember?
well, i just wanted to say that its really good to see the overall SDN mood changed. i think most people are starting to lose some of the stress and anger (including me) and that makes me happy.
for those who are still waiting their 1st good news (interview), keep your heads up. people could get interviews even in feb, march, or even april. just don't let this get to you.
