Thought you guys might me interested in some info I got at the UCLA admissions office yesterday. This is the first time I made any inquiry as to what was going on with my application, and, as it turns out, it has not even been seen by the committee, even though I interviewed in mid-Nov. I'm not sure if this is accurate, but the guy working there told me that they randomly choose a few applications for the committee to look at at every meeting, regardless of when you interviewed. Seems kinda odd, don't you think? If admissions are rolling, shouldn't people who interviewed earlier be reviewed earlier? Does anyone know if what this guy told me is true?
Anyway, if this is true, it might explain why some of us are still sitting here pulling our hair out.
