Hey everyone,
I'm a first-time DO Canadian applicant and was just wondering about my chances for this upcoming cycle.
Schools applied: MSUCOM (top choice), WesternU, AZCOM, CCOM
Stats: 3.77 cGPA 3.75 sGPA 511 (128/127/128/128)
DO Shadowing: 20 hours
Did an internship with a DO physician: 160 hours approx
EC (strong, multiple leadership roles, community service, various opportunities involving global health, long term and unique)
Research: 1000+ hours of research (poster and conference presentations with publication in the works)
Clinical: 500 hours paid clinical job
MD shadowing: 140 hours
Should I be applying to more? What are my realistic chances at MSUCOM? Are there any fellow Canadians at any of the schools I've applied to?
