First time Applying 2018-2019 cycle
Took 3 gap years to travel, work full time in food & beverage industry, pretty much for personal growth. Did not do anything medical related during gap years aside from Physician Shadowing and volunteering at hospice. I have spoken to admissions for one school which stated that my gap years might be an issue with applications. Would most schools think the same? Is there anything else that I need or I can improve on before applications start?
Also, what list of schools should I apply to for M.D. (if possible) and D.O.
