ok, thanks

the issue with your app is that the school list does not meet your stats
13 schools and only 3 privates would be more appropriate for someone in the 3.6-3.7 range with 21/22 DAT
plus your upward trend is actually declining your senior year

but congrats on getting to where you are with your GPA/DAT
you have clearly improved
i would like to have seen a broader school list and perhaps concentrating on doing an SMP instead of applying to truly prove to schools that you are ready for a rigorous professional school...

Where else would you recommend I apply to if I did? Yeah, my senior year I did get a 3.7 my last semester but it was brought down by me having a 3.0 the semester before. I had gotten all Bs since I took a very hard course load.

You must show at least 4 consistent 3.7+ semesters to overcome concerns about academically readiness IMO. You are not there, plus you set yourself back by taking overload semesters (no brownie points for this). The overloads you have taken will pale compared to dental school, so I'm concerned you are prone to failing out if you don't show you have the studying skills and discipline to make it through.

I do think a strong SMP or postbac with a LOT of strong student support will bring in advisors and faculty perspectives to allay adcom faculty's concerns you can't do the work. I would be curious what advice you would get from UDM's admissions staff from your posted profile. Of course, if you already submitted, you won't get any feedback unless you get rejected months from now.

Okay! At what point do you think I should start thinking about applying for a SMP or post bacc, and which one would you recommend? I am in my gap year now as I just graduated.

Is there even a small chance that I could get in? I know it doesn’t matter much to admissions but I was suffering from depression my freshman and sophomore year and that affected a lot of my ability to see what worked best for me studying wise. Not trying to make excuses at all, I should have done better.

Your best and swiftest opportunity would be through SMPs that offer strong student support so that you can show you have overcome challenges related to your mental health and lack of strong study habits. You can ask around in the Postbac forums. That said, they are high-risk, high-reward, and some may require you to get your undergrad GPA up to a 3.0 before they can admit you. Look for programs that give you DAT prep or a significantly discounted/free access to DAT prep through a third-party.

An undergrad science gpa up to a 3.0?

Some programs require an undergrad GPA of 3.0, as they calculate it (application GPA or institution GPA). Just check with them since you self-disclose being at 3.0.

My undergrad overall gpa was a 3.19 application and institution was 3.3 and My science gpa was 2.99. Should I wait to apply to one or do it now?

i would have recommended that you research and apply to way more private schools...

i would not recommend a post-bacc
post-bacc counts as undergraduate gpa
SMP would be a brand new, graduate gpa...
