I just got my mcat score back. Feeling discouraged because my score is unbalanced. (129/123/127/129). I am not sure what happened on this cars because i never score lower than a 126 on my FLs. I really don't want to retake it unless absolutely necessary but I want to know what my chances are at getting in if i apply with these stats. also feeling like i need to redo my whole school list if i am below the median MCAT. what are some MD schools that i should add to my list with these stats?
- FL resident
- UF for undergrad
- Currently working as a derm scribe since december 2022 and will continue here until may 2024
- shadowing variety of specialties 100 hours
- starting research with pain management anesthesiologist this summer
- physics tutor for student athletes
- philanthropy director for my sorority
- started club at school for Guardian Ad Litem, works with neglected children in the foster care/court system
- volunteer at title 1 school as a pre-k reading coach 3 summers
- volunteer at gymnastics gym for children with special needs
- mental health ambassador for my sorority
