My first real immersion into SDN. I interviwed last week, the day before Thanksgiving (scary, but pretty real!) I really enjoyed the tour, especially seeing the DMC areas (and they fixed the problems!) Good luck y'all! (seriously!)

that's MSU... but I guess I've never heard of anyone in-state being rejected post-secondary from wayne... 😕

It's different, but I do know of some in-state folks that were wait listed (post-interview) at Wayne and didn't get off it (accepted) that year.

I believe about 1/2 of applicants are offered an interview. Of those, about 1/2 are given acceptance.

I phoned the admissions office at 1:15 pm today... and found out I GOT ACCEPTED!!

I think if you have an early interview the way to ask for the waitlist is to come off like an ass...(aka, you're better than the school) that apparently happened to one of the interviewees who was there with one of my friends. in state too.

okay so for those of you who have interviewed, have any of you had to reschedule? I just got my invite today and it is for dec 21st. i will be out of the country for about 3 weeks during that time....does it look terribly bad to reschedule? 🙁

Call them and say just that. You'll be fine. After Dec. 20th they won't be making any decisions until late January anyway...

I think there's a good chance. I interviewed on Wednesday 11/22 and was accepted Wednesday 11/29. So I would think it's possible.

When did you send in the secondary? And your stats are pretty similar but a bit better than mine except I am in state.

Wait a second. I was complete in mid-August and got the interview invite on November 1st. Depending on how nice they want to be to you as an OOS applicant, you should hear from them soon. If you don't hear from them by January, I would recommend you send an update to them with new grades and show interest.
