Hey everyone,

I am wondering what my chances are for an acceptance this round. Any school recommendations would also be appreciated!

STATS:
cGPA: 3.25
sGPA: 3.1
I had two really bad semesters my sophomore year due to family issues and working multiple jobs. I ended up failing a few science classes. I since have maintained a 3.9 average and have 4.0ed upper level sciences like physics 2, genetics, biochem, microbio, neuroscience, etc.
(my cGPA will be a 3.4 and science will be 3.2 after the academic update granted I do well. I am taking classes through December)
DAT: 23AA, 24TS, 22PAT

ECs:
1000 hours as a physician's scribe
150 volunteer hours with disabled students
200 shadow hours (dentist, ortho, periodontist)
500 hours as oral surgeon assistant
one semester as a TA for introductory bio
one year of research

LOR:
two professors
oral surgeon
general dentist

ADDITIONAL INFO:
neuroscience major
michigan resident
I am applying as disadvantaged

Any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I think you have a good chance! Just make sure you apply broadly, private + public because your sGPA is low. Also having a strong LOR really helps.
