I started reading Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace last night. I haven't read for pleasure in MONTHS.

I'm at a very "f it" point in the term. I'm taking way too many classes and it has stirred up a great deal of stress in my life. While this probably isn't an attitude suitable for vet school, I'm going give a figurative middle finger to my classes. It's time to focus more on my mental and physical health, rather than shoot for that 3.7 i was hoping for this semester. To start with, I'm going to read a few novels. Then, I'll be *really* adventurous and maybe sign up for some tae kwon do classes. :laugh:
 
Two weeks to the bio final and I'm already studying for it right now. 😉

I had to make the pattern because I couldn't find one. If I can figure out how to make a pattern on the computer I'll let you know!

Sure. It's really crappy and not all that impressive...don't judge. I ended up using little bits of wire to prop it up instead of the white and black pipe cleaner. Don't have the finished one now since I handed it in for extra credit.

CFIA was late this year normally it's in early October. I've been politely pestering them since early September. Applications close on Nov 30, but I have no idea when I'll hear anything.

Chile Pepper. Pretty much everyone from there loves it. We all eat it when we go back. It's also where my mom got the tortillas to bring me in October.

I was thinking of trying it, but that is quite a drive from where I live. I can't wait to get back and try some of my favorites. Only 19 days left. 😀

I realize I'm about to sound like a complete lunatic for saying this 😏 but I feel like my cat knows where I'm hurting. She always massages me where I hurt. Usually it's my hips or back, but tonight my stomach hurts and she's going to town on it right meow. Total crazy talk I know, and it could all be coincidence but she's always spot on. :lame:
 
It is so cold and I really don't want to leave my fire to go to physics lab. WAH!

I think mine knows where I'm hurting too and intentionally jumps on it and it hurts get the hell off of me you dumb cat 😡
 
They promised high winds, they promised 8 inches of rain in the hills and 1 - 3 inches everywhere else, they promised a big storm. When? This morning. Where is it? Off partying somewhere else. When will it come to me? Now they are saying Friday.

Do I believe them? No! Stupid false promises. Shame on the weathermen.
 
Waiting for my food to arrive, studying some but have no motivation... not that it matters since I really feel like I have already failed, unless a miracle occurs.

Going to pull an all-nighter tonight just to see if I can't possibly, somehow save this grade... I only need a 50% for a pass... :xf:

Finally home from a long day... I have only been at home for at most one hour today, but it was worth it... After our last exam a few of us went out to lunch and got margaritas (lots of margaritas), then we stopped at the pet shop (similar to a petsmart) and saw cute little animals because we needed some animal therapy after these last 3 days (I got to pet 2 dogs 😍), then I came home for around an hour and left again to attend the Christmas festival, going back tomorrow for more fun things... 🙂

Now I am on the couch with lots of blankets, pillows, and chocolate and I am going to relax, watch a movie and enjoy being done with yet another set of exams... 🙂

Got back from the Victorian Street Walk and an impromptu grocery shopping trip, worked on my research paper for Bacterial Pathogenesis, and don't have time to work on my novel because I need to go to bed since I have early class tomorrow. Seriously hoping I'll be able to finish two days worth of words tomorrow...I'd hate to not win when I'm so close.

haha I don't know. It's a saying of my dad's when something is dry. "It's drier than a popcorn fart" and I said it on a thread earlier without even thinking about it :laugh: :smack:
