I started reading Leo Tolstoy's War and Peace last night. I haven't read for pleasure in MONTHS.
I'm at a very "f it" point in the term. I'm taking way too many classes and it has stirred up a great deal of stress in my life. While this probably isn't an attitude suitable for vet school, I'm going give a figurative middle finger to my classes. It's time to focus more on my mental and physical health, rather than shoot for that 3.7 i was hoping for this semester. To start with, I'm going to read a few novels. Then, I'll be *really* adventurous and maybe sign up for some tae kwon do classes.

I had to make the pattern because I couldn't find one. If I can figure out how to make a pattern on the computer I'll let you know!
Sure. It's really crappy and not all that impressive...don't judge. I ended up using little bits of wire to prop it up instead of the white and black pipe cleaner. Don't have the finished one now since I handed it in for extra credit.

CFIA was late this year normally it's in early October. I've been politely pestering them since early September. Applications close on Nov 30, but I have no idea when I'll hear anything.

So my hometown Mexican restaurant just got 8th best burritos in the nation!! I really miss them.

Chile Pepper. Pretty much everyone from there loves it. We all eat it when we go back. It's also where my mom got the tortillas to bring me in October.
I was thinking of trying it, but that is quite a drive from where I live. I can't wait to get back and try some of my favorites. Only 19 days left. 😀
There's a really good burrito (and probably taco...haven't had those) place right around the corner from my apartment. It's kind of dangerous really.
I realize I'm about to sound like a complete lunatic for saying this 😏 but I feel like my cat knows where I'm hurting. She always massages me where I hurt. Usually it's my hips or back, but tonight my stomach hurts and she's going to town on it right meow. Total crazy talk I know, and it could all be coincidence but she's always spot on.

Waiting for my food to arrive, studying some but have no motivation... not that it matters since I really feel like I have already failed, unless a miracle occurs.

Mine is mostly gone but this little bit just doesn't wanna go away. It's very annoying.
Finally home from a long day... I have only been at home for at most one hour today, but it was worth it... After our last exam a few of us went out to lunch and got margaritas (lots of margaritas), then we stopped at the pet shop (similar to a petsmart) and saw cute little animals because we needed some animal therapy after these last 3 days (I got to pet 2 dogs 😍), then I came home for around an hour and left again to attend the Christmas festival, going back tomorrow for more fun things... 🙂
Now I am on the couch with lots of blankets, pillows, and chocolate and I am going to relax, watch a movie and enjoy being done with yet another set of exams... 🙂

Got back from the Victorian Street Walk and an impromptu grocery shopping trip, worked on my research paper for Bacterial Pathogenesis, and don't have time to work on my novel because I need to go to bed since I have early class tomorrow. Seriously hoping I'll be able to finish two days worth of words tomorrow...I'd hate to not win when I'm so close.
