I just saw one of my neighbor's has two or three! I saw two brindles running up to the fence and heard a third one somewhere. Super cute and super obese. :laugh:

I really want one but know I can't handle a puppy right now. Also my one at home won't allow it and he deserves all the attention since he probably won't be with us much longer. Probably won't be able to have a corgi for a while...it'll make me a bit sad but they're probably my favorite breed.
 
Driving home from work was major suckage tonight! Took me 45 minutes to go 20 miles. Stupid snow storm. 🙁

Ahhh. I was going to go see Imagine Dragons for free in Philly but it was supposed to storm so I thought the concert would have been cancelled since it was outdoors...nope. It happened and now I"m =(

I only got to see the end of Imagine Dragons set yesterday. So the local band goes on around 5:15 (this is new compared to other years). Imagine Dragons were scheduled for 6, my friend and I got there at 6:05. Some coordinator decided to start Imagine Dragons 20 minutes early 😕😱😡 So we only got to see the end of their set. We were very sad.

This is me with our upcoming exam this Friday... it is worth 10% of our grade and I am honestly so mentally and physically exhausted that I am not sure it is worth it... torn between really studying hard or just looking over information and hoping for the best.
 
Freaking out about my Biochemistry final. Especially since it counts for double because I missed an exam earlier in the semester. :scared:

Going for a long walk while my leg is sore. Had a weird charlie horse and have been sore all day.

Eat a banana. I swear it helps.

After working 9.5 hours in a cold ass barn and 1 hour chipping away frozen manure, I am sitting at home all wrapped up in blankets in my chair. Drinking beer, watching netflix and the entertainment over in the WW Holiday thread. 😛

Bring it on MN! You can do better than what you did this weekend. (But really, you don't need to. I'm already sick of shoveling snow)

Yeah they do that here too! But I live a few minute drive from campus, and besides, I don't have a meal plan anyway. Just made more sense to stay home in my pajamas 🙂



Annnnd, study study study study! Last final for Biomedical Microbiology is in 4 hours :scared:

My undergrad did a waffle dinner (I think it was waffles at least?) that was I really want to say was available to everyone, meal plan or not. Kind of awesome.

I would have loved our weekend snow if I didn't have to drive to work. Sigh... the roads are still brutal right now. I've gotten stuck at least 4 times already. Drive safe!
 
I'm at the teaching hospital waiting on bloodwork and radiographs on Mojo, my min pin. He's vomiting, lethargic, and inappetant. Oh, and I'm trying to study for my BacT final that's tomorrow

Mine used to do a similar thing, but I'm not sure if they do it anymore. They would open the dining hall though every night from I think 10-12, and they would offer a bunch of snack foods like chicken nuggets, fries, popcorn, ice cream, and those kinds of things. It was definitely for everyone, but I commute so I never went.
 
I'm trying to finish a 10 page paper for a religion class due tomorrow morning at 8:30 and I'm only on page 4, but I just calculated what grade I need to get for an A, and its only like a 40% because my professor gave out a ton of bonus points. So, needless to say, its going to be a late night and my motivation is lacking.

you mean like a one-time thing before finals, right? not every night all semester for free food for everyone? because, uh, what!?! in that case.

👍 Although the lines are so terrible I usually figure it's not worth it.

Trying to read up some on kitten diets. I don't think this goes against forum rules, but if it does, please just ignore the questions..

About until what age should kitten food be fed before switching to adult food? I get it really cheap at work and am trying to figure out how much to order..

junior/senior year my housemates and i would talk about going, but then we'd end up opening a bottle of wine and we had the most comfy couch ever and that was that.

I wish it was every night! :laugh: It was just every night during finals week at my school (so four nights/semester), but my school does have these events like karaoke, game nights, and that kind of thing that are free for everyone usually about one night/week where they give out free food that usually follows a theme like a cereal bar, sundae bar, wings night, and so on.

haha. good! makes more sense. although that is kind of nifty every night during finals. i would totally have taken total advantage of it if i was still on campus.

Not sure what brands you have access to, but I foster a lot of kittens (plus have a new one myself) and my favorite is the Purina one kitten (make sure it's Purina one and not just Purina kitten chow, big difference). It's not a super high quality food, but it is definitely the most liked and easiest on kitty tummies that I've tried.
And jam is right 10 to 12 is usually a good bet.

Ugh, I know! Our roads are icy now. 🙁 I drove 20 miles at midnight in the thick of that 'blizzard' on Saturday night. :laugh: Took me 45 minutes to get home. I should have just stayed at a co-workers place until morning, but I really wanted to get home and it wasn't so bad until 6 miles out, and at that point I said 'eff it' and kept going. :laugh: The snow wasn't bad, it was powdery, but the visibility was blech. Could only see about 20 feet ahead of you. I could barely make out the shadow line from the headlights that indicated ditch, going 25 miles an hour. If the ditches had been full of snow, I would not have even attempted it. (I live on west side of MN, so we get weather 3-6 hours ahead of you.)

Definitely second this! I do want to add though, some of the larger breeds(like Maine Coons) should go closer to 12-15 months. They take a little longer in their growth stage. (they don't stop growing until 2-3 years 😱)

I know your kitten is probably a mix, but just thought I would throw that out there. :laugh:
 
What about Hills Science Diet? That's the only one I get at work and was what I was gonna order.

Thanks for the age. I found pretty much everything online from 2 years to nothing because kitten food is only something they make to make more money. It's not actually necessary. 😉
