Haha! Salty + sweet = delicious. I eat popcorn and chocolate in the same bite. French fries dipped in ice cream. Bacon and chocolate. The list goes on!

Congrats!!

So I'm debating on whether or not to buy the kindle edition of the third book of the trilogy I'm reading. I have the first two in hardback (from a used book store) and I'd kind of like to have all three in the same format. On the other hand, it's like twice as much (even to buy it used) and the cover doesn't match, or even the titling scheme.

my GRE prep book came in the mail today.

poo.

I have that problem every time I start a new series. I really like having everything in the same format but it's hard (expensive) sometimes.

I thought this was the rave thread for a second, read the first sentence and was all :eyebrow:

I make that mistake really often because its so easy to switch quickly on the phone. I've seen some weird "raves" and "rants."

I typically have everything in paperback. Then I have a great system with my friends at school who read the same series--they buy it when it comes out in hardback (or on kindle, most recently) and I get to read it and then not buy it until it's in paperback. 😀 I just finished the newest Dresden Files book last night by this system.

I've honestly never had Nutella before.

See I do too. However, it's set like 300 years in the future (of the other two books). The first two were set in like 80 AD Scotland and this one is like towards the end of the Roman occupation (Yay! for historical fiction). And the cover is completely different. Also I could get the Kindle edition in like 3 minutes. I'm so bad at making decisions when it comes to books. I'm a book person (I have more books than bookshelves, my wedding had a literature theme with old books on the tables, and my wedding pictures were taken at a library), so I feel it actually matters. 😕

You're not missing out ... I don't care what anyone says :meanie:

I'm not a nutella fan. I don't like sweet things for my meals and nutella doesn't hit the spot for snacks. However, my vet school bff makes amazing nutella buttercream frosting.

How is that possible when you've been in the UK all this time??? All my friends in England were obsessed with it and are the reason I tried it in the first place.

same thing here! I was playing with this girl in a tournament once, and she SWORE by nutella--she was from the outskirts of London.
I tried it and it was good. I've never actually bought any though. I just have it when a friend offers some 😛

I went through jars of it over there. Now I don't eat it that much. Although peanut butter, nutella and banana sandwiches are amazing. I only have some in my apartment now from the cheesecake in one of my above posts.

 Haven't had a reason to try it. The only people that have told me that I have to try it are those on this thread. I just haven't purchased any yet because I am not sure if I would even like it so it seems like a waste of money to buy a jar just to try it.

I'm shocked. You'll just have to find someone who has some and then try it for yourself. The first time I had it was on a crepe in Paris.

We actually have some in my house, my sister loves it.. I just haven't felt like trying it

Have you had HP Sauce yet??

That theme sounds lovely!

It was wonderful. Some little girl even called me a princess while we were at the library. The whole thing was very intimate and vintage.

That cheesecake did look amazing.

Not that I am aware of. Unless it was in something and I just did not know it.

When I was over there it was at every table in every restaurant. Nothing fantabulous, just a brown ketchupy condiment.

It's a layer pumpkin cheesecake with nutella swirl. First cheesecake I ever made and it turned out pretty well actually (that particular one was the 3rd one)ing. I surprised myself consider I make brownies from a box and only cook like pasta and eggs.

:uhno: I could NOT live without vinegar! Olive oil and vinegar on salad is my addiction.

YES!!! With fresh black pepper.
I actually just use straight vinegar anymore. Just to watch my girlish figure. 😉
And I wasn't a fan of HP sauce either.
