I'm completely obsessed with lemons. It's pathetic actually,and I have no enamel to prove it 🙄

One of my favorite things is mixing vinegar, garlic, pepper, and some herbs, with lemon juice and either spicy or Dijon mustard. YUMS!!!

i feel like thrifting today.


oh and on a side note I just ordered a roku for my mom for christmas!
she just discovered netflix and it crazy about it! she has a tv in her room but no cable, just a DVD player. So she watches netflix on this teenie laptop of hers.
I hope it works well. 😀
 
Just made the most amazing dinner ever. Holy crap, I need to remember this one

Chilean seabass + carmelized onions wrapped in bacon and sprinkled with brown sugar.

Serve with jasmati rice and veggie of choice. And a glass of wine to compliment.

And trying to name my cats. I'm pretty set on Pumpkin for the calico and need a name for the other one. We're trying to find a pie kind name, so they'll be my Pies. Pie squared. :laugh:

Your kitties are adorable! When I adopted mine I ended up keeping her name from her previous owner.. I love your pie squared idea! My brain is inherently bad at names so the first flavors that popped up: Apple, Peach, Cherry.. And then rhubarb popped into my head and I decided I should stop trying 😀 I wish I were more creative.. But I hope you find the right pie 🙂

I saw an orange one named Pumpkin. That's how I got it. And I just can't stop thinking of that one for the calico, so I thought why not.

I just thought of 30 Rock. Liz Lemon. She loves food. Lemon is a kind of pie, so..

lol my grandpa just asked me what LGBT meant.

I had to explain the trans part to him… and the look on his face was absolutely pricessless! :laugh:
He can seem to wrap his mind around the idea, poor guy.

Sigh. I'm overnight by myself in the large animal hospital. Just me 'n a couple cows and a horse that isn't over at equine. Anybody up? 🙂

It's always fun to see the reaction on select people's faces when I mention that my mom was part of the pioneering sex reassignment surgery team up here at UMN decades ago. Usually work a few blinks and stares.

I was here earlier. Took me the longest time to fall back asleep.

It's like 30 degrees and I have to bike to work now. My brother said he'd take me but ended up getting super drunk and left the car somewhere else. :angry:
 
I was about to say Nah, it's much layer there! until I realized you're in the US right now. :laugh:

It's so cold and I have more than a mile to bike left! D:

Sitting in my comfy chair eating, SDNing, and watching McLeod's Daughters. 😀 I fully intend to do this all day long! My kitchen is a disaster and really needs a good couple hours cleaning, but I'll do that tomorrow. 😛
 
I wanted to run a bunch of errands today but it started snowing and now its sleeting. The roads outside the house aren't looking too promising, especially since D took the Soob with the 4WD and left my truck. I love my truck but it's not really the safest vehicle of choice in the bad weather. So I'm finishing bridal shower TY notes, stuffing save the dates (my do to list says STDs haha) and contemplating reading some more. Maybe the weather will clear up this afternoon and I can venture out:xf:
 
Waiting an hour for the bus because the student on my kittens case came late and I missed my bus. Usually I wouldn't mind so much but I have a ton of other stuff to do today, including needing to get meds for said kitten.
