Debating on if I should eat something for dinner or not...

I had to leave school earlier this morning because I was freezing cold, nauseous and it had felt like someone had beat me in the stomach with a bat... It was hard to walk/stand...

I am feeling better now, but trying to decide if eating is a good idea or not.

🙁 I'm sorry... I know the feeling all too well..

I'm glad to finally have at least SOME answers, just didn't want it to be THOSE answers :bang:
I had to have 13 X-rays taken 😱 and 3 blood samples drawn. Definitely :xf: and hoping I don't come back positive for ankylosing spondylitis :xf: :xf: :xf: :scared:

I will keep my fingers crossed for you! :xf:

Hope everything comes back a-ok. :xf:

studying for biochem and trying to resist my urge to check SDN! 🙂

Watching The Lorax on Netflix while my puppy sleeps on my lap. 😍

Just came back from dropping off the foster puppy. My calico kitten is happy to be the sole owner of my lap again. 😍

Cuddling with my golden boy and watching Mulan on TV. Then I plan on watching Wreck-it Ralph that I just picked up today. Great evening!

Contemplating a good place to bury my annoying Calculus homework.

It hates me.

The feeling is mutual.

Letting everyone know that Wild at Heart is on Netflix right now!

It's about a veterinary surgeon and his wife restore a dilapidated South African wild-game reserve. (I don't think it's real life, haven't watched it yet)

Just started watching it! It's not "real" but I think it's based on a true story.

First full weekend off of work in over 4 months and I'm spending my Saturday night watching movies and snuggled up with a lab/border collie mix, a beagle/dalmatian mix, a beagle, a chihuahua, and a domestic shorthair. 🙂 😍

Went to a Chinese restaurant that has amazing hand pulled noodles to celebrate my sister's boyfriend's birthday. I ate too much. And then ate more cause we went and got ice cream after. Time to enter food coma 😴

I had mexican food for lunch. Then made yakisoba for dinner. And then had a pineapple that was going bad, so made brown sugar/cinnamon pineapple for a dessert/snack...

...food coma buddies?

I'm with two of my friends for break, and we watched Tangled last night and are going to watch Wreck-it Ralph tonight. 😀

I love Tangled!! I ended up saving Wreck-it Ralph for another night since I'm going to be house sitting for someone this week who does not have a tv...

Investigating lab animal residencies. I've been having bouts of "Ack! I'm going into third year and I STILL don't know what I want to be when I grow up!"

Nope, bad idea. You definitely don't want to do lab animal. It's terrible, not fun, miserable all around. I'm just sacrificing myself for the good of the profession.

😉

Hehe, you made me think of it again, actually. I'd never stopped thinking about it, but the only one I'd ever looked into was the DVSc at Guelph and I really didn't want to do more school. Then you reminded me that most don't have more schooling, I promise not to apply to the same places as you!

Some of the US programs have associated masters work and a couple have options to get your PhD (three more years? Bleh.)

No worries- if you get one in Maryland and I don't, we can always just switch places- not like anyone will be able to tell the difference

 Sad but true! (To anyone wondering what she means, people keep calling TR and I by each other's names, despite the two of us looking nothing alike.)

I also did some poking around for Canada Student Loans and they seem to have some fairly generous repayment help, so taking a lower residency salary would actually be doable for me while still making enough for a semi-comfortable existence. I love the idea of one day going back to my undergraduate university as their veterinarian, and they want someone board certified.

I'm trying to figure out what I want to do with my summer. It's a great distraction from studying for midterms, although I'm not really getting anywhere with my plans 😕

I'm in the library studying for my physics exam. I wouldn't venture to say that my uni is a "studious" school, no wonder this place is *EMPTY*

Cleaning my whole apartment since mopping, sweeping, taking out the trash and doing dishes is absent in my roommates' vocabulary.

Oh and the fact that they're probably all gonna come home wasted 🙄

but then I'm making homemade cherry pie and cooking salmon for dinner tonight 😍

But you have the decency and good sense to like Sidney Crosby and TRH is one of those Tebow fans. I don't see how this could happen!!!
:barf:

TR and I stay off the topic of sports, for the sake of our friendship. (Though I admit to a few Ovechkin jabs this season. :meanie:)

It's true. If Coquette were more of a football fan we may have bigger issues...

lol I'd take at least 20 guys in the NHL over Ovechkin right now. He isn't even worthy of being in the same conversation as Crosby at the moment and even Crosby's biggest haters will acknowledge that. 😉

Sid is making Chris Kunitz, who basically defines mediocrity, look like freaking Jaromir Jagr.

I don't understand Crosby hate. I'm a Hawks fan, but I can appreciate an talent like Crosby's. Also, he's never come across as a jerk to me, so why hate him? 🙂

That being said... Blackhawks! 😛

I need to read a 25-page paper to peer review (for the first of three times) and read at least one more psych article, plus work on my thesis, and since it's Monday I have a riding lesson and a pack of meetings until late...I miss break.

Waiting for someone who, after numerous strongly worded discussions on the topic, STILL can't be bothered to notify anyone when he's going to be later than expected.

Seriously, it's 2013. It takes 5 seconds to send a text to say you're running late. Why is this such a difficult concept? 🙄

Just ordered a bunch of books off Amazon, one of which will be here in 3 days. I can't decide whether it is a terrible or an amazing thing that I started buying books off the internet...at least they're usually used and cheaper than at the bookstore!

Watching The Best and the Brightest. It has Neil Patrick Harris in it, can't be too bad. :naughty:

Studying... :ninja:

Okay, okay, watching Project Runway. Then studying. 🙄

Trying to stay awake at work... I wish I could crawl under my desk and close my eyes for a bit. I don't know what it is about this semester but I constantly feel like I can't get caught up on sleep. 😴

Trying to decide if living in an apartment attached to a horse barn is a bad idea. Anyone have any experience with this? I'm concerned it might get really noisy, especially if people are boarding their horses there.

Oh my gosh, sign me up! haha If I were going to school some place closer, it would be so nice because then I could take my horse with me instead of having to sell him.

Anyway, I once boarded my horse in a barn/home-type building. Since it was private (even though they were family friends) there were rules about when we could go. Also we had to be quiet. Never did quite get to have those wild barn parties. 🙁

In all honestly, it really depends on the barn culture. The first and second place I board my horse at people were always hanging out. I can't say it was loud, but people would definitely come and go through out the day. Evening, by dinner time, everything quieted down. The third place I boarded, the trainer would not put up with any non-sense. You came, saw your horse, then let the trainer and her staff get back to work. It was always super quiet and calm except for maybe the occasional horse whinnying for food or a wall kick. I really liked that place. *nostalgic*

My biggest concern is that they do wagon/sleigh rides out of that barn and right past the apartment. I can deal with the occasional stamp or whiny from the horses, but I'm a little concerned about having to deal with screaming children on the weekends when I'm trying to study. 😱

Do these wagon/sleigh rides appear to be a regular occurrence...? :scared:

It sounds like they're by reservation only, so maybe not? They do have special rates for school groups, but at least that would likely be during the day when I'm in class.
