Attempting to write an essay for a scholarship that just asks me to explain why I should be selected and how the scholarship will help me.

There's not even background information about the scholarship so I can't even base my response off of that. Really want to apply for it because it's a decent amount and is one of the few that don't have a GPA requirement and I'm right below the minimum for those. 🙁

Always scary when you have to just guess what they are looking for. I suppose just be brutally honest and hope for the best. The people that make it are the ones who have a story people can get behind. Silly but true story... I girl from my high school has a beautiful voice and tried out for one of the reality shows, can't remember which. They loved her voice but said her background story wasn't interesting enough. Gotta have a selling point these days.

It's one through my school and the money is coming from alumni. And that's what I'm trying to do but not having any luck.

I'm attempting a complete Mass Effect run-through of all 3 games. Working my way up to insanity mode (so, I played Veteran on the first game, since that one is my weakest game) and now working on hardcore mode on Mass Effect 2. Things are going pretty decently so far! I can't complain 🙂
Hoping to have this done in about 2 weeks with all 3 games.

It was mid 70s with cloudy sky's and wind gusts.. Not ideal tanning weather for me

I'm currently very happy to have a basement apartment. It's 25C with 70% humidity right now, so the humidex is 32C. Basement = well insulated = nice and cool down here.

I bought a Chromebook today to replace my sputtering netbook. I don't think it's going to suffice though. My main method of taking notes is to type them directly onto the professor's powerpoints or PDFs. Powerpoints are fine, they play nicely with Google Slides. But I've been fiddling with it for awhile to find a reasonable method of adding comments to PDFs on it, and it doesn't look like there is one. Boo. I liked the Chromebook besides that. Looks like it's going back and I'm going to have to shell out more money then I wanted to.

I got bored and ventured over to the Pre Allo forum. It's scary over there. Kinda like the twilight zone. They aren't nearly as supportive and helpful as us pre vetties. It's entertaining though.

I enjoy poking around over there.
