What can you do if on alternate list after interview?

Contact the Admissions office, let them know you really want to attend their school. Make sure to keep in contact with them, but don't be overbearing.

Wait, and:

1. Get plan B ready
2. Prepare for next application cycle

I was wondering the same thing.

I called the admissions office where I have been waitlist, and sent them a brief statement of "continued high interest" in their school with my confirmation of alternate listing that was required to submit. However, when I called them they told me to just wait. Do you think I should ignore that request and continue to call every two weeks, week?

Also do you think they will automatically receive my academic update and include that when considering to draft me up to the big league (accept me)? Or should I call them and tell them to expect my academic update?

Disrespecting their request to not call them sounds like a great way to get on their good side. 🙄

I would assume they would get your academic update if you send it.
